This certification guarantees that feathers and down are sourced from ducks and geese farmed in species-appropriate and healthy conditions. The standard applies to the entire supply chain from the farm/poultry farm to the finished product - in order to ensure seamless traceability. THE HONEST DOWN COMFORTER As is clear from the name, The Honest Down Certificate stands for the honest down comforter. This means that the filling used in The Honest Down comforter corresponds exactly to what is stated on the label. In addition these comforters are certified to exclusively contain Class 1 down and feathers as per EU standard EN Honesty and sincerity are extremely important fundamental principles and are central to the HEFEL The Honest Down range. OUTLAST FOR OTIMAL TEMERATURE REGULATION Outlast technology was originally developed for NASA and regulates temperature and moisture to ensure better, more relaxing sleep. ALOE VERA FINISH The special hydrophilic finished fabric ensures a constant temperature. Moisture build up does not occur because the fabric quickly absorbs moisture which it disperses and releases externally. Aloe Vera, which has been regarded as a curative and healing plant since the days of the Ancient Egyptians, is today, more than ever before, recognized in scientific research. Its extract contains approximately 200 valuable ingredients which, amongst other properties contribute to the renewal of the skin, inhibit inflammation and have an anti-allergic and invigorating effect. These characteristics make the fabric soft to the touch and particularly snug. The plump leaves of this desert plant are a reservoir containing valuable vitamins, B-complexes, mineral substances and trace elements.
