1 A Unique Collection of Needleart Adapted from museum collections, architecture and nature Counted Cross Stitch and Needlepoint designs Exclusive designs certified by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Liberty Magazine Designs Frank Lloyd Wright was commissioned to design twelve covers for Liberty Magazine in Though they were never published, the designs reflect his interest in creating decorative designs beyond buildings and their furnishings. 809 Old Fashioned Window I* 810 Old Fashioned Window II* ( ) We ve adapted small sections of a Liberty magazine cover to create needlepoint designs that make eye-catching 14 x14 inch pillows. * NOTE: Items shown with ( * ) also available as hand painted needlepoint canvas through your local needlework shop. 144 Wisteria Window ( 7 x 21 in.) In 1924, Wright created this abstract floral design for the library of the Ennis House, Los Angeles, California. Our counted cross stitch adaptation includes metallic floss accents in the cames. 194 Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers (5.5 x 16.5 in.)* This abstract design of a giant saguaro cactus also appeared on the cover of Wright's 1930 Princeton lectures and as a glass mural in the main entrance of the Arizona Biltmore Resort Hotel. Adapted to counted cross stitch. 811 Frozen Spheres (12 x 12 in.)* The abstract motif for the January cover includes elements suggesting icicles.
