5 Supplies OESD FiberForm 505 Temporary Adhesive Spray OESD Aqua Mesh OESD In the Hoop Appliqué Scissors Two 5 Square Pieces Cotton Fabric Eyelet and Buttonhole Cutter Set Instructions Instructions 1. Hoop two layers of OESD Aqua Mesh. Photo Using the FiberForm pattern included with these instructions, cut out a square of fiber form. Photo Stitch the first color change, which will be a placement stitch. Photo 03. Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 4. Lightly spray the back of the fiber form square with 505 Temporary Adhesive Spray. Place the square onto the stabilizer, centering it in the placement line. Photo Lightly spray the back of one of the 5 squares of fabric with temporary adhesive spray. Place over the fiber form square and smooth into place. Photo Stitch the next color change, which will Image 4 Image 5 Image 6 be the Cut Line and Tackdown. Photo Using a pair of in the hoop appliqué scissors, trim the fabric as close to the cut line as possible. Photo Stitch the details of the design according to the design chart, stopping with the last color change BEFORE the color change marked Back Cut Line and Tack Down. Photo 08. Image 7 Image 8 Image 9 9. Remove the hoop from the machine but do not remove the project from the hoop. Lightly spray the other 5 square of fabric with temporary adhesive spray. Smooth onto the back of the project, centering over the stitches square. Photo Stitch the Back Cut Line and Tack Down. Photo Using the appliqué scissors, trim the back fabric as close as possible to the cut line. Photo 11. 6 Instructions 12. Stitch the remaining color changes, MATCHING the bobbin thread to the top thread for the remainder of the project. 13. When finished stitching, remove the project from the hoop and cut away the excess AquaMesh stabilizer. Photo Rinse away the excess AquaMesh and allow the project to dry. 15. Using an eyelet and buttonhole cutter Image 12 Image 13 Image 14 set, cut the center of the eyelet and slice open the buttonholes. Photo Insert a pencil or other small gift such as a candy stick or folded up money into the buttonholes. Tie to your gift or hang with a ribbon. Photo 14.
