These Nano-Tex fabrics meet environmental, health and safety standards mandated by the EPA, OSHA and CPSC. Evaluated by authorized, independent organizations, these products are found to be safe in required categories of skin sensitivity, toxicity, environmental safety and personal health. Nano-Tex Spills Resistance Performance Innovative nanotechnology aligns and permanently attaches fluoropolymers on the original fibers for optimum "feel" as well as high-performance stain resistance. On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = heavy stain, 5 = no stain), Nano-Tex Resists Spills fabrics rated 4.5 to 5.0 on all 9 test materials. These include: iodine, blood, urine, ink, hot coffee, room temperature coffee, red wine, mustard and salad oil. Durability Improvement The addition of nanotechnology has been found to increase both the abrasion-resistance (Wyzenbek testing) as well as the seam slippage performance of original fibers.
