2 AW18 Sybarite Our AW18 collection curvets onto Concorde haute haste, straps its seatbelt tight and soars supersonically back to the sybaritic side of Seventies New York and an evening of egregious excess in the company of the poodle-faking playboy par excellence of the period, Gunter Sachs. The opening of Concorde s rocketing Mach 2 route between London and New York in 1977 resulted in the rebirth of the jet-set and a special relationship of a new, careering, carnally charged kind between the UK and the USA. And the hidden hub of these high jinks was 101 East 63rd Street, the stunningly slick steel and glass Paul Rudolph-designed townhouse and hooley haven that Sachs held so dear he had to put his hand in his pocket and purchase.
