With the circular knitting machines of the Plush range, Terrot is setting the highest standard in the manufacture of quality plush. Complete ranges of coloured jacquard plush and uniplush for the high-quality clothing sector, for the technical sector and the demanding car interior sector. With TCP (TOTAL-CONTROLLED-PILE) technology, the APL-E type with electronic needle selection is setting new standards. Above all, when it is important that all plush loops in all pattern surfaces are of equal length. The advantage to you: uniform pile length, dense and uniform velours, significantly less cutting loss when finishing the fabric. Each metre of fabric means a saving of expensive pile yarn. The result: highest quality velours due to precise process control and extended product variety with increased production up to a gauge of 24. Many would call this an outstanding performance. 3 SIMPLE CONTROL The mechanically controlled Type APL-2 with 6 needle tracks, like the APL-E, works using the same TCP knitting technology that has been well proven in practice. The firstclass short-pile fabrics or velour fabrics are distinguished by the following characteristics: Full control of the pile length during the whole of the knitting process guarantees the highest process reliability, especially for technical knits. Uniform pile length and dense velours with first-class plating quality due to pre-knitting and re-forming of all plush piles. SIMPLY MORE TECHNOLOGY The TCP process (TOTAL-CONTROLLED- PILE) is used in two different types of knitting: MPV (MULTI- PURPOSE-VELOURS). In a 2-colour jacquard pattern, the plush and base yarns are each fed to System A ( A pre-looping). The plush yarn of colour 2 is fed to System B at the same time as the base yarn stitch is being finished. See also sketch showing the knitting principle. This technique enables previously unobtainably high levels of production to be achieved Direct utilisation of the base yarn results in simplified machine settings and absolutely uniform stitch density. Used for all demanding jacquard patterns with long floating plush yarn threads. The stitches are finished by means of an extra knitting system. This completely avoids an uncontrolled pulling back of the plush yarn during the knitting process. Only three knitting systems are required for a full range of 2-colour jacquard.
