2 Proactive Performance Monitoring for MEDITECH The Goliath Performance Monitoring Module for MEDITECH was built with input from hospitals who deployed Magic, Client Server and 6.x in their Citrix environment, and needed a proactive troubleshooting and remediation solution to fix end user experience issues before physicians and healthcare workers were effected. MEDITECH Environment Troubleshooting Dashboards Magic Buffer Pool Performance Dashboard DKACT Performance is a key indicator to slowness in a MEDITECH environment, and in this dashboard we trend the key metrics to characterize performance Queue length, hold time, wait time, and uses per second. 3

4 Magic File I/O Performance Dashboard Provide insight into MEDITECH Filing performance by trending performance across hardware and software layers that can contribute to slowness MEDITECH, Windows, Storage, and Network. ANP Server Performance Dashboard Track the utilization of the ANP server which is used for all communication between servers and clients. Dash board includes MEDITECH specific metrics and storage performance. 4
