3 minireceiver 2.0, Click Domes & Click Moulds maintenance and care. minireceiver 2.0 exchanging is as easy as 1, 2, 3 The minireceiver 2.0 is easily exchangeable. To replace the minireceiver, use the exchange tool to open and close the locking bar for reliable securing and no risk of dislodgement. Easy 3-step process Open the locking bar. Remove / Insert the minireceiver. Close the locking bar. How to remove and replace the Click Dome Replacing Click Domes is simple: The Click Dome packaging is designed to help you easily remove used domes. Once the used dome is removed, simply press the tip of the minireceiver unit into the new Click Dome until it clicks in. Remove single domes Connect single domes The Click Dome packaging is designed with a slot for removal of the single dome. Slide the minireceiver into the slot and gently remove the used Click Dome. Press the tip of the minireceiver unit into the Click Dome. The minireceiver clicks in and you are ready! If the wax guard becomes clogged: Use the wax guard exchange tool to replace the used filter. More details below. Click Dome removal tool 1. Gently push removal tool onto Click Dome and grip between finger and thumb. 2. With firm grip on Click Dome, lever removal tool downwards to remove Click Dome, whilst holding minireceiver steady in the other hand. 3

4 Effective 2-step wax protection (wax guard) New! minireceiver with wax guard Dome grid integrated into the Click Domes With the new soft wax grid, cleaning the dome has become even easier: simply squeeze the tip of the dome to break up the wax. Additional protection minireceiver Wax Guard minireceiver Wax Guard Pack of GHD2743 Click Domes have an effective 2 step wax protection system. Click Domes contain an integrated grid to help prevent wax from entering the minireceiver. For additional protection, minireceivers are also installed with a replaceable wax filter. The minireceiver Wax Guard can be replaced by audiologists or wearers using the following the instructions. 1. Remove Click Dome (as illustrated on page 2) Wax Guard 2. Using the end of the blue wax guard removal tool, push and screw clock-wise onto wax guard located on the end of the minireceiver. Pull out old wax guard. 3. Replace new wax guard which is pre-loaded on the end of the minireceiver wax guard removal tool. Simply push new wax guard on to the end of the minireceiver with the side of the tool, which will insert new wax guard. Discard tool and old wax guard. 4

5 Click Mould Instructions Please note that Click Moulds are not compatible with 1st generation receivers. Durable click interface with Click Mould. Each Click Mould has a replaceable HF4 filter (gauze wax trap) which prevents wax entering the Click Mould and minireceiver. In addition, minireceivers are also installed with a replaceable wax filter. Please see instructions on the previous page for replacing the minireceiver Wax Guard. For cleaning instructions please follow a regime as described for Click Domes. Using the blue HF4 removal tool (non screw end), remove new HF4 filter from dial pack. Push new HF4 filter into Click Mould. Remove old HF4 filter with tool provided (included in HF4 dial pack). Unscrew, remove and discard old HF4 filter. click Re-attach Click Mould to minireceiver. Hold minireceiver in the black tool. Please note that the black tool pulls apart to be used as a minireceiver holder. Using click mechanism, securely fit Click Mould onto minireceiver. How to remove and replace the Click Mould and the HF4 Filter Remove minireceiver using black tool. Push through Click Mould using tool (supplied with each Click Mould order) to remove minireceiver. 5
