21 Green Urns The Natural Choice Within our Green Urns section, you will find product choices for pet families that enable them to help leave a lighter footprint on this planet, and you to increase your profits. This unique collection of minimum returns containers, urns, caskets and memorial products has been carefully selected to allow you to increase revenues by providing and merchandising products that veterinarians and pet owners see value in. The products are attractive, functional and affordable, and the biodegradable products having a limitless shelf-life when kept in a cool, dry location. Most of the products are crafted by hand from sustainable and renewable resources such as sand and gelatin, handmade mulberry paper and willow. Scattering Tubes Scattering Tubes are a perfect alternative to the metal tins and plastic boxes often used as minimum returns containers. The scattering process is simplified by our cutting edge engineering and design. The tubes are durable, dignified and easy to use. Each features a convenient, removable lid (fig. 1) and an industry-first, perforated "push-in" tab (fig. 2) that opens easily prior to scattering. They are produced from over 80% recycled content, contain no metal or plastic components and can be recycled or composted after use. Earthurns Earthurn biodegradable urns features a unique assortment of sustainably crafted, handmade paper urns. They are the perfect greener alternative to plastic and tin minimum returns containers. The durable and attractive Earthurns are produced from the bark of the mulberry tree using an ancient technique that allows the bark of the tree to be harvested without harming the tree. In fact, the tree continues to thrive and grow. The finished textured paper is sun dried before being used to create the urns. This collection of urns is suitable for scattering, biodegradable burial, or the temporary storage of cremated remains. No trees are cut down to produce the biodegradable Earthurn. Since they are crafted by hand from natural and sustainable materials each may vary slightly in size, shape and appearance. Water Urns Biodegradable water burial urns is designed for the placement of cremated remains into water. These urns will float briefly, to allow a final farewell before gracefully sinking. The length of time each urn takes to sink depends on the product selected, the weight of the cremated remains and local water conditions. Since most are crafted by hand from natural and sustainable materials, they may vary slightly in size, shape and appearance. Each urn comes with a water soluble bag into which the cremated remains must be placed. 21
