2 Cremation Help P.X. Dermody Funeral Home has been serving cremation families through our local funeral homes for many years. Over the years we received many inquiries urging us to provide a simple, affordable and dignified cremation service. We felt it was time to fulfill their request. Cremation Help by Dermodys is proud to offer a new convenient online arrangement process and practical approach to arranging funeral and cremation services. You will never be asked to come in the office, instead, you will make the arrangements in the comfort of your own home. Whether you re looking for affordability or a personalized yet simpler tribute, we want you to know that we specialize in cremation. We are now able to offer the services you want at the best online price. We are here to serve your family in their time of need day or night. This lower cost option still includes the respectful care and professional conduct you have come to expect from Dermodys. These two elements have no price tag associated with them. Instead they are part of our business beliefs and commitment to your family. Our goal is to create a far simpler, less expensive, and more convenient tribute to your loved one.

3 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Professional and Staff Services $250 Direction of staffing and facilities required for personal care for the deceased, disposition of remains, gatherings, ceremonies, final resting places; Co-ordination of activities, rites and ceremonies, including services and supplies provided by us and by third party suppliers and professionals, such as clergy, personnel from cemeteries, crematoria. Preparation and maintenance of Records for Administrative, Accounting and Life Information. Documentation Securing medical and legal authorizations, certificates for completion and registration of death; $175 Proof of Death Certificates (10) for Estate Administration; Transport Remains $160 Transportation of the remains into our care from place of death or to/from another location in an unmarked service vehicle. A charge applies for each transportation request and for distances beyond 50 kms from our location. Basic Preparation & Sanitary Care $ Supply linens, gloves and protection for transfer; disposal of medical waste and clothing; covering the remains in a shroud; placing the remains in the container or casket of choice. Identification Viewing $120 Embalming $ Embalming is not required by law, but may be required to preserve the remains depending on time of death and time of service needs. This is the fee for a standard case. Facilities for Preparation $160 Facilities and/or equipment to shelter, prepare and (if required) embalm the remains, as well as for the provision of professional and administrative services.
