Today we have opals ranging from as little as $50 up to $3,990 each. I have one here that s good value, it s taken a long time to weigh them out and for Heather to take pictures but I can highly recommend the $50 stone, brilliant colour for such small money, you could cut something bigger than a 10mm x 8mm. For a hobbiest the blues for only $62.40 is a beauty. The pair of Mintubi Verticals for only $100 the pair is something you won t want to go past. Like those there is another pair of earrings and big beautiful vertical for a ring for only $100 from the same parcel. Th $163 stone from Broken Leg which is a field that s now closed down, between Mintubi and Lambina, this stone is a black opal showing magnificent greens and blue, it should cut two ways but I think it will look even better across the face. The Mintubi for $343 is huge, 65mm long, a bit more than 12mm wide and 5mm thick. That could be cut into matching earrings and ring or even a pendant, earrings and ring depending on how large you wanted it. There is certainly a lot of opal there for only $343. I can highly recommend that. If you want some more we have brothers and sisters to that lovely stone. The $408 black I could cut myself but I ve never cut a stone. It has magnificent reds and greens, it s really a lovely super gem. The $412 stone beautiful black Mintubi with bars running right through the stone, that could well be the best value in our Offer today. Look I could go on about all this material, pictures will speak louder than words. If you want a nice rectangular black the $ is a beauty. The huge stone for 726 weighs 1.32oz, that one you will get a lot of opal out of that, many different stones. The Black Mintubi $3,955 is again a huge piece weighing 1.13oz showing beautiful greens and blues on black. You could try for one huge pendant, if there are any imperfections in it and you can t see really through the sandstone, it looks good to me, you may decide to make matching pairs of earrings etc out of it. The $3,990 stone again is a very big one, it s not as thick but it s gem reds and greens on black throughout the stone. I can highly recommend that piece. Again, first in best dressed. Regards
