3 6. $99 IMG_7506 Andamooka Rainbow Matrix opal untreated 5.5" x 1" x.25" thick 2.6oz Above you will see two pictures of Untreated Rainbow Matrix, it is a rock that has tiny particles of colour, when you wet it the colour stands out. Man being as ingenius as he is has worked out how to treat it however Rainbow Matrix is quite porous and if treated and the colour dries out the colour doesn t show up so man has learnt to paint it with optical glass and that holds the colour. It is really amazing how people have worked out how to do this. Over the years and whilst we were mining at Andamooka I secured as much of this material as I could because it was so reasonably priced compared with other opal. We have a couple of pieces here that weigh over a kilo, they are both double sided and both over 1 thick, one of them is 8 x 7 and the other a huge 6.5 x 5. Below is a picture of a Rainbow Matrix stone for only $210, it has been treated but it hasn t been sealed with the liquid glass if it had been would be looking at a $600 stone. I ve priced this one at only $210 thinking someone would like to paint their own liquid glass on it. One of the pictures is of the stone dry and the second picture is of the stone wet. It won t take you long to see the difference.

I would love to give one of these stones to each of you but as you can see from their prices that is out of the question. The cutters who cut it, polish it and seal it don t work for nothing. I note that there is another stone here for $145 which hasn t been sealed.

The least expensive is only $172. The most expensive for a huge monster $1,250. I think the first stone that will sell is the double sided $225 showing magnificent reds & greens, that really is a bottler. I am a sucker for reds myself. The $ oz is really really brilliant as is the $975. The $ gem Greens is a bargain as is the $325.8oz double sided (green one side and red the other). I can highly recommend the $595 stone, it has a unique relief, it is not flat, it is up and down, it is showing reds in one area, green in another and even has a little bit of opal in the middle in a couple of places. In fact if that was an option for me I think this would be the one I d take. It weighs.69kilo/22oz. It covers the whole of your hand and is over 1 thick. It is a magnificent specimen for anyone to have on their desk or in their cupboard. We have a picture of the piece of Andamooka Quartz with opal, it s huge and weighs 31.5oz, that has not been treated, it s what we call quartz with opal", it is a natural stone and has not been treated, it can be cut into cabochons or beads. It s a beauty. It has a little brother 144cts for only $425, it has matrix one side with gem opal which would make a beautiful double sided pendant.

I have this stone in my hand as I dictate this Offer, it feels beautiful, it s so smooth and as I roll it around under the light it s just electric. With greens going everywhere, a little sheer of blue. I love this stone and so will you. You don t know how proud I am to offer you such magnificent pieces for such little money. Go for it!
