2 April 3, 2014 Welcome to the 3 rd Annual Lambert St. Louis International Direct Connect Airport Expo. The St. Louis Business Travel Association continues to build our partnership with Lambert St. Louis International Airport and we are pleased to bring you an expanded program this year, still centered around the Direct Connect Airport Expo luncheon but with a broader focus on delivering a full day of educational content. A prestigious list of speakers compliments the theme of New Horizons In Business Travel; the full day of sessions covers a variety of topics relevant to Travel Management, Procurement, Human Resources and Strategic Meetings Management. For those with GBTA certifications, the sessions are certified for continuing education credits toward CCTE and GTP recertification. Founded in 1987, the St. Louis Business Travel Association provides an important forum for the exchange of information, education and ideas among its members, who include representatives from local corporations and leading travel industry suppliers. Our mission has three tenets: Education, Professional Growth and Key Networking. We continue to grow the chapter and our commitment to the St. Louis region by offering unparalleled opportunities such as Direct Connect to our members and to the business travel community as a whole. Through our new educational foundation we will soon expand our scholarship offerings to include not just full scholarships to GBTA convention but continuing education scholarships for business professionals looking to build their skills and certifications, and scholarships for students pursuing a career in the travel industry and the science of business travel management. We are excited about our opportunities to partner with other associations on events of this type and we thank Lambert St. Louis for making it possible. The common goal of all good professional associations is to be informative, educational and, ultimately collaborative to work in the best interests of its members and the community. Thank you for your participation, we look forward to hearing from you about your experiences here today and we hope you will continue to participate in the educational and networking opportunities of STLBTA. Kelly Christner, GTP President, STLBTA Thank You To our speakers who donated their time and knowledge, Lambert St. Louis International Airport, our Air Carrier Partners, LHM Hotels, Egencia, our generous sponsors and STLBTA members who donated as well. 2
