This course provides students a survey of strategic management topics that are relevant to managers. The primary objectives of this course are for students to be able to assimilate and synthesize existing knowledge from the field of strategic management in meaningful ways. The course is also intended to equip students to derive and apply tactical solutions to strategic issues that face both large and small organizations today. Business and Society (MBA). Required MBA Core Course, University of Dallas. Developed both the on-campus and on-line version of this required MBA course. This course has a heavy emphasis on Business Ethics, Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility, and Bottom of the Pyramid initiatives. Global Entrepreneurship (Undergraduate). Senior level business undergraduate course that course provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge of the entrepreneurial process and examine the feasibility of a expanding a business to a foreign market. The analysis of industry and environmental forces, the competitive context in which companies operate in global industries, the characteristics of global, multinational and transnational strategies, and global strategic alliances are topics covered in the course. Senior Seminar (Undergraduate). Required course for business undergraduates. Course integrates strategic management concepts through class lecture and case studies to enable students to develop decision making skills necessary for managing organizations. Strategic Management (MBA). Required course in the Management MBA concentration. Reformatted and developed the on-campus course, and also the on-line version of this course (on the e-college platform). This course has a heavy emphasis on case studies to help 1

2 students develop analytical and decision-making skills while also highlighting the reality of organizational and environmental uncertainties in strategic decision making. Business Ethics (MBA), Focused on the concept of virtue, this course helped students resolve ethically challenging situations in management by integrating the manager s personal life and values with sound management practice.
