1 NOLA BUSINESS ALLIANCE BOARD MEMBERS Henry Coaxum, Chair President, Coaxum Enterprises, Inc. Henry L. Coaxum, Jr., is President of Coaxum Enterprises, Inc., and owner/operator of seven McDonald s restaurants in the New Orleans area. He first moved to New Orleans in 1982 to establish the development office for the Amistad Research Center, which was founded by the American Missionary Association and is the oldest scholarly repository of the papers of noted African Americans. Coaxum received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the National Black Chamber of Commerce at its 15 th Annual Convention held in New Orleans in July He has served as a member of the boards of directors of United Bank & Trust Company, the Grambling University Athletic Foundation, the New Orleans East Business Association, the New Orleans African American Museum; the United Way of Greater New Orleans and the Louisiana ArtWorks. Leslie Jacobs, Vice Chair Executive Vice President of Strategic Comp Leslie Jacobs is the former co-owner and president of The Rosenthal Agency, a family business she helped build into one of the top 100 independent insurance agencies in the nation, prior to selling it to Hibernia National Bank (now Capital One). She is also the former co-owner and remains Executive Vice President of Strategic Comp, a Louisiana based workers compensation insurance company. Leslie currently serves as Chairman of the Southeast Regional Business Council Coalition, Vice-Chairman of the New Orleans Business Council, and is on the executive committee of Greater New Orleans Inc. She served as Co-chair of the Economic Development Task Force for then-mayor-elect Mitch Landrieu s transition team. She is also the founder of 504ward, an initiative focused on retaining young talent in New Orleans, and is one of the founding board members of the LeapFrog Fund, a newly formed nonprofit, early stage investment fund. Justin T. Augustine III Vice President, Veolia Transportation CEO, New Orleans Regional Transit Authority Justin Augustine is the Chief Executive Officer of the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority as well as a Vice President of Veolia Transportation. Under Augustine s leadership, the Veolia Transportation team is responsible for all aspects of the public transportation system in New Orleans. Mr. Augustine is a professional in management and finance with over 28 years of experience in the fields of Transportation Management and Finance/Accounting. As an experienced executive, he is very familiar with the many facets of the transportation business in different regions of the United States and the rest of the world. Augustine is a member of many past and present Boards including: Industrial Development Board of New Orleans, South West Transit Association, New Orleans Public Media Access Board, United Way of Greater New Orleans, Downtown Austin Alliance, Austin Area Urban League, Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Greater

2 Austin/San Antonio Corridor Council, TMSEL Retiree Board, AICPA Information Technology Alliance, APTA Financial Management Committee and Institute of Internal Auditors. Hal Brown Partner, Paladin Capital Group Hal Brown has been a Principal of Paladin Capital Group since its inception in Paladin Capital Group is a private equity investment firm with over $800 million under management. In June of 2004, Mr. Brown and his wife, Shawn Kennedy, purchased a home in New Orleans in the Faubourg St. John neighborhood and in December of 2004, he moved his primary residence from Washington, DC to New Orleans. Mr. Brown also founded a real estate investment company (Fortuné Development, LLC) in New Orleans in January Mr. Brown has been actively involved with a number of local nonprofit organizations including: the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools (Board), New Orleans College Prep Charter School (Chair), the Preservation Resource Center (Board), the Greater N.O. Biomedical Economic Development District (Board), the Broad St. Main Street Program (Treasurer), the African American Museum (Board) and a member of three Mid-City neighborhood improvement associations. Andrea Chen Chair, Social Entrepreneurs of New Orleans In 2007, Andrea Chen co-founded SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS OF NEW ORLEANS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping creative problem solvers with effective and efficient solutions to social problems build financially sustainable, socially impactful, and innovative organizations, and she currently serves as its Chair. She was awarded 2009 Outstanding Social Entrepreneur of the Year by Tulane University s A.B. Freeman School of Business, highlighted in August 2009 Entrepreneur magazine, and named to Mayor-elect Mitch Landrieu s Social Innovation Task Force Other recognitions include being named to 2009 New Orleans Gambit 40 Under 40, and receiving Louisiana Lt. Governor s Office of Social Entrepreneurship Award. Lucy Chun Associate, Re/Max Commercial Brokers Lucy Chun, an associate at Re/Max Commercial Brokers, has 35 years sales experience. Lucy has been working in real estate since 1983, and her interest focusing in real estate investments and management led her to be an expert in the multi-family and retail sectors of commercial real estate. Recently she has specialized in hotel/motel sales and large shopping center redevelopments. Lucy is very active in the Asian community and has and still serves on numerous boards and committees. Currently she is the Chair of the Asian chamber of Commerce, President of OCAW and Board Member of the Multicultural Tourism Network.

3 Patricia Hightower President and CEO, Bayou Equity Mortgage Patricia Hightower is President and CEO of Bayou Equity Mortgage, a residential mortgage lender that provides complete mortgage loan services for clients seeking loan approvals for Conventional and Rural Development loans throughout the New Orleans Metro area. Patricia serves on various boards in the area including The World Trade Center, Tulane Cancer Center, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, The Links, Inc., African American Women of Power and Purpose, and the Regional Black Chamber of Commerce. John C. Hope, III Chairman and CEO, Whitney National Bank and Whitney Holding Corporation John Hope currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Whitney National Bank and Whitney Holding Corporation. Mr. Hope has been in banking since 1974 when he worked for First National Bank of Mobile and First Bancgroup. Mr. Hope is Chairman of the Board of Directors of EnergySouth, Inc. and serves on the Board of Trustees of Infirmary Health System. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UMS Wright Preparatory School, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and Campaign Chairman of Way of Southwest Alabama. Darlene Kattán Executive Director, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana Darlene A. Kattán is the Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana (HCCL). Since 2006, she has been responsible for overseeing all operations and activities of the Chamber as well as its corresponding Foundation, and its Hispanic Business Resources & Technology Center (HBRTC). She has also worked in multiple industries including hotels and tourism, pharmaceuticals, immigration law, financial services, and higher education. Ms. Kattán has a bi-monthly radio show on La Fabulosa 8.30AM and often appears on WWL Talk Radio where she discusses important Hispanic issues. She has also appeared in documentaries and news programs on the Spanish television networks Univisión, Telemundo, Televisa, and Discovery en Español, as well as other local and national radio and TV programs.

4 Michael W. Kearney, Sr. President and CEO, Kearney Companies, Inc. Michael W. Kearney, Sr., is the President & Founder Kearney Companies, Inc. He serves as President of the New Orleans Board of Trade, Advisory Member of Ports Association of Louisiana, Committee Member of Greater New Orleans Inc., Ports and Trades Committee, and member of the Board of Directors of the Horizon Initiative. Mr. Kearney has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at St. George Episcopal School, a board member at Trinity Episcopal School, and a member of the Board of Directors of Y.M.C.A. of New Orleans. Rita Benson LeBlanc Owner and Executive Vice-President, New Orleans Saints Rita Benson LeBlanc is the Owner/Executive Vice President of the New Orleans Saints. There, she is the leader of the business and administrative operations, with a myriad of daily responsibilities that includes overseeing all sales and marketing efforts, the club s community and youth programs, game day entertainment and stadium operations. LeBlanc also represents the club at NFL Ownership Meetings, where she chairs the NFL Employee Benefits Committee and serves on the NFL International Committee. She has served in nearly every department within the club, and has also spearheaded fiscal responsibility, business development and stadium research. In addition, LeBlanc serves on the New Orleans Business Council, the United Way Board of Trustees, the Board of Trustees of Loyola University, the Shirley Landry Benson PACE Center at St. Cecilia, and the Oblate Missionary Partnership. Charles Rice President and CEO, Entergy New Orleans, Inc. Charles Rice is currently the President and CEO of Entergy New Orleans, Inc. He previously served as Director of Regulatory Affairs for Entergy New Orleans and Director of Utility Strategy for Entergy New Orleans. He is a member of the Alabama and Louisiana State Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and the National Bar Association and is admitted to practice before Federal Courts in Louisiana and Alabama. Rice has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the National Bar Association and as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association. He also served on the Board Directors and as President of The Greater New Orleans Multi-Cultural Tourism Network, and The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. Currently, he is on the Visiting Committee of the Loyola University School of Law and serves on the Board of Directors of National Conference for Community and Justice, Kingsley House, and is President of the Board of Trustees of the Algiers Charter School Association.

5 Ronald J. Sholes President, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation Ronald Ron Sholes is President of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation and a partner at Adams and Reese. A former district judge in the Civil District Court, Parish of Orleans, he assumed judicial office in 1991 and still serves as a Judge of the Traffic Court for the City of New Orleans. Ron has served as an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He has several leadership roles on numerous professional, civic and cultural boards including serving as President of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and President of the St. Thomas More Inn of Court. He also serves on the Loyola College of Law Board of Visitors and several Supreme Court and bar association committees. Ron serves on the Board of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and Dryades YMCA.
