5 CORPORATE SOCIAL INITIATIVES SGBL group aims to be a socially responsible company, committed to civil society, contributing to economic and social progress. Every single day is testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainable development. Our actions, solidarity, and drive come together to enrich local communities and to help make the world more united. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been an integral part of SGBL's identity for many years. We conduct a series of CSR initiatives based mainly on three axes: culture, society and sport. Our contribution builds on the Group's four key values: Teamwork, Responsibility, Commitment and Innovation. CULTURE Focus on the new generation By sponsoring actions and establishing long-term partnerships with well-renowned cultural institutions, SGBL positions itself as a strong advocate of culture and arts in Lebanon. The bank pays particular attention to emerging talents and the new generation of artists, notably through its partnership with l Orient-le Jour and "Generation Orient", and "REVEALING by SGBL" as part of BEIRUT ART FAIR. At the same time, SGBL sponsors a large number of festivals and cultural events throughout the year, including Beirut International Film Festival, the Francophonie Month, Museum Night, Beiteddine Art Festival, Baalbeck International Festival, Cedars International Festival and more than 10 festivals all over the Lebanese regions.

6 SOCIETY Sustainable engagement with NGOs Resolutely involved in social progress and civic causes, SGBL participates in numerous citizen initiatives through partnerships with various NGOs such as, Sesobel, arcenciel, Kunhadi, Oum El Nour, CCCL. Similarly, SGBL has signed a partnership agreement with the Order of Malta in Lebanon, an association that aims to serve, through its humanitarian work throughout Lebanese territory, Human Dignity, Coexistence and Peace. We also encourage our employees to engage in CSR actions and to rally around the Group's key initiatives in order to serve the community. SPORTS Promoting civic values Over the years, SGBL has positioned itself as a major support for sports by sponsoring teams, tournaments and events throughout the country. Through the unifying role of sport, the bank seeks to promote civic values, such as team spirit, self-excellence, and solidarity. Today, SGBL supports the development of a number of Lebanese sports clubs, including Homenetmen Basketball Club, As Salam Zgharta Football Club, Hoops Basketball Club, and Sagesse Club Beirut. SGBL also sponsors numerous sport events such as the ISF half-marathon, Peking to Paris Challenge, Mountain Peaks Race, etc.
