1 DERBI Foundation STARTUP SUMMIT DERBI (Dayananda Sagar Entrepreneurship Research and Business Incubation) Foundation had organized a Startup Summit on 5 th March 2016 at DSI Innovation Campus, Hosur Road. The primary objective of the was to connect to the various players in the startup ecosystem. The theme of the summit was Startups : Reality or Hype?. The event was primarily for founders/ cofounders of startup companies. It had the participation of 30 startup companies.

Dr. Sridhar Mitta, Founder & Managing Director, NextWealth Entrepreneurs Pvt. Ltd Dr. Sridhar Mitta has nearly four decades of experience in Information Technology R&D and related businesses in India and the United States. He is currently the Founder and Managing Director of NextWealth Entrepreneurs Private Limited in India, whose vision is Social Uplift through Entrepreneurship. Dr. Mitta was a Founder and member of Board of Directors in e4e Inc., Santa Clara, CA based business Services Company. Dr. Mitta has been elected to the Board of Trustees of TiE Global and he served as President of TiE Bangalore.

He has worked in India and China in areas of business development, product development, operational strategy and material management. He has a strong interest in social work and has been associated with socio-spiritual NGO, BAPS. He is presently in partnership with LetsVenture India s largest start-up funding platform. Naganand Doraswamy President, TiE Bangalore He has held various technical and management roles in data networking, wireless and telecommunication industry. He is currently the CEO and Managing Director in IdeaSpring Capital. Presently he is also very active in the start-up ecosystem as an investor and a mentor. Sheshadri is the Managing Director of Deepti Electronics and Electro Optics Ltd. He has worked extensively in the field of Electro - Optics and has led several projects. He was a professor at the Visveshwaraya Technological University, where he guided Graduate and Undergraduate students.
