Acted as Shareholder-of-Record for the Greek State-owned companies supervising their Board of Directors Also drafted legislation for the new Directorate of Internal Economic Audits, on the uses of lands around Greece's coastal perimeter and a host of other initiatives.

3 Also actively engaged in the very successful privatization of Hellenic Petroleum, of The Commercial Bank of Greece (to Credit Agricole of France) and of OTE Hellenic Telecom (to Deutsche Telekom)! DEPUTY MINISTER of FOREIGN AFFAIRS responsible of all international economic relations. We commenced an unprecedented initiative for State visits (with the President of the Republic or organized directly by my office) to promote Greek businesses access to the world markets and to encourage foreign investors to invest in Greece!
