6 Speaker Profiles Supply Chain Management and ERP solutions. MS JAN BEGG Managing Director, Azulin Jan Begg is an experienced non-executive director, chair and governance consultant. Her nonexecutive experience includes aged care, healthcare, education and infrastructure organisations and she had senior executive roles in Australia, UK and USA. Ms Begg holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Master of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has undertaken research and authored academic papers in strategy implementation and project governance. She is an expert in principle-based standards and the Chair of the international standards committee ISO/ IEC JTC1/SC40, (IT Governance, Service Management and BPO with over 50 country members). Jan is also Chair and AICD representative of the Standards Australia s committee which mirrors the international work. MR GEOFF CLARKE Regional Standards Manager for Asia, Microsoft Geoff Clarke is Microsoft s Regional Standards Manager for Asia. In this role, he coordinates Microsoft s work with national standards bodies and leading industry associations across the region. His aim is to develop and maintain positive, constructive relationships with government, academic and industry leaders to collaboratively contribute to the development of standards globally. Geoff represents Australia on several international standards committees and covers topics such as Governance, Cloud Computing and IT Security. The common thread through these committees is his focus on providing guidance to organizations on developing data and technology strategies within a robust governance framework. Prior to joining Microsoft in 1997, Geoff was a software developer at FourGen Software in Seattle - a software vendor specializing in Geoff lives in Queensland, Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland. When he is not on a plane or in a standards meeting, you will find him walking with his wife and their hairy dogs, swimming laps in the local pool or trying to stay upright on his bicycle. MS JANE DRAKE- BROCKMAN Founder and Chair, Australian Services Roundtable Jane Drake-Brockman is an internationally recognised expert on international trade, global value chains, regional integration and development. She is Australia s foremost expert on trade in services, bringing a unique mix of experience formed across business, academia, government and international government in multiple international fora. She is Founder and Chair of the Australian Services Roundtable, the peak business body for the services industries in Australia and Chair of the Asia Pacific Services Coalition, the world s largest coalition of services industries, which she was instrumental is forming in Jane is a former senior Australian diplomat and trade negotiator; she has served for example as Chief Economist in the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, Assistant Secretary, Services and Intellectual Property Branch and Minister/Charge d Affaires at the Australian Delegation to the EU in Brussels. She has extensive practical background in regional economic integration and close association with APEC and ASEAN activities. In 2015 she was a central architect of the APEC Services Competitiveness Roadmap Jane has also worked on the staff of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, the OECD Secretariat in Paris (8 years) and the International Trade Centre in Geneva. She has also served on the Board of the International Chamber of Commerce in Australia, on the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Coalition of Services Industries

7 Speaker Profiles and as Convenor of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) Taskforce on Services. She has taught Macroeconomics in the MBA Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Trade in Services in the Masters in International Trade and Development at The University of Adelaide. She has published widely on trade and regional integration, undertaken innumerable trade-related consultancies throughout the Asia-Pacific region and participated in World Economic Forum Expert Groups on Services; Global Value Chains; and Trade, Finance and Development. Her current research focus is digital trade and the trade impact of technological disruption. MR DAVID NG MIN KONG Head of Digital Solutions, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam With more than fifteen years of experience in the field of card authorization, fraud monitoring, and contact centre management, David now leads BIBD s Digital Solutions which has overseen the launch and operations of the latest innovations in Brunei s digital banking landscape. These include leading the transformation of BIBD s call centre into a fully capable contact centre with Brunei s first authenticated mobile chat, which now manages the bank s highest number of customer traffic. David also oversees innovations in BIBD s NEXGEN platform that includes online and mobile banking, and the setup of BIBD s first Digital Branch setup. David also has a strong business acumen for innovation and strategic alliances as he also contributed to the expansion of BIBD NEXGEN beyond the banking sector. David has actively built his experience on his background in Information Systems (BA Information Technology). MR SOON TEE NEW Cluster Director, Trade and Connectivity Cluster, Infocomm Media Development Authority New Soon Tee is the Cluster Director of Trade and Connectivity Cluster in IMDA. The twenty-two-year veteran in the ICT industry has conceptualized ideas and solutions which transform the Logistics, and Retail sectors. He led the implementation of Urban Logistics and Federated Locker initiatives for Singapore. Soon Tee is also a member of the Singapore Service Standards Council. Prior to joining IMDA, Soon Tee was the General Manager of IT at Toll Global Logistics where he was a member of the Global IT Steering Committee, responsible for developing the IT strategic roadmap for the Toll Group. During his tenure at General Electric, he was rotated across various businesses in multiple countries implementing enterprise IT solutions. MS BRIDIE OHLSSON Blockchain Project Lead, AgriDigital Driving the blockchain innovation and implementation at AgriDigital, Bridie works across industry sectors to build communication channels and relationships with government, agribusinesses and the tech and startup ecosystem. Bridie manages AgriDigital s blockchain workstream, sitting at the juncture of industry and technology to develop transformational software solutions and solve embedded challenges across global supply chains. Before joining AgriDigital, Bridie worked across research, policy analysis and compliance in the legal and not-for-profit sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Politics studying both at the University of Sydney and Sciences Po, Paris.

8 Speaker Profiles MR FRASER THOMPSON Director, AlphaBeta Dr. Fraser Thompson is Director of AlphaBeta, an economic strategy firm based in Singapore and Australia, which aims to integrate economics and strategy to support business and government decision-making. Among other areas, AlphaBeta works closely with governments, firms and investors to accelerate the digital economy. Projects include the development of a smart cities strategy for ASEAN, supporting the digital adoption of MSMEs, and the development of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025 (which included areas such as digital data flows, and open data). Fraser previously led McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), the economic research arm of McKinsey, in Southeast Asia, and was also a consultant with McKinsey for 6 years, having worked across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Prior to joining McKinsey, Fraser worked at The World Bank focused on East Asia and Northern Africa, and as an economics tutor at Oxford University. Fraser received a Doctorate and Masters in Economics from the University of Oxford, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. At the undergraduate level, Fraser studied at Melbourne University, Beijing Normal University, and Butler University. Fraser is also President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in ASEAN, a board member of AustCham Singapore, a senior advisor to IMA Asia, and former board member of On Purpose, a European organisation focused on attracting and developing talent to address the greatest issues faced by society and the environment. Fraser is a keen runner, and has represented Australia at international level in cross country and mountain running; was a two-time All American in Track and Field and Cross Country; served as President of the Oxford University Athletics Club; and was voted the Oxford University Athlete of the Decade (with previous awardees including Sir Roger Bannister). Fraser is a regular keynote speaker and moderator on economic and strategy topics, having given over 50 keynote speeches in the past two years. MR PHIL WENNBLOM Senior Director, Standards Policy, Intel Corporation Phil Wennblom is Senior Director of Standards Policy for Intel Corporation. As part of the Government and Policy Group, his team sets Intel standards policy positions and leads Intel representation in strategic standards setting organizations world-wide. Phil has been active in ISO/IEC JTC 1 since 2005 and is currently the chair of JTC 1. He has represented Intel on the INCITS Executive Board since 2002 and chaired the board from 2013 through Active in governance of the IEEE Standards Association since 2004, Phil currently serves on the IEEE Standards Association Standards Board and chairs the Patent Committee of the Standards Board. Phil is a member of the Standardization Policy Committee of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) and served as its chair from 2008 through Phil joined Intel in 1984 as a design engineer. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
