The ACCME defines relevant financial relationships as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 12 months that create a conflict of interest. Conflicts of interest must be resolved for the individual to continue participation. All participants declare the following: They will comply with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education to ensure that this CME activity is free of commercial bias or appearance thereof. They will base all clinical recommendations on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification in the case of patients.
