Mr. Joginder Pawar Mr. Rajiv Kumar Mr. Sanjay Kapoor Mr. Vinay Chauhan. ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES IN APDI DELHI CHAPTER The meeting began with a string of announcements by Mr. R.S. Jagdev, President (DC) about important organizational changes. The monthly meeting of Delhi Chapter APDI was held on 3 rd April, 2015 at the office of Mr. Vinay Chauhan (Vice President- Delhi Chapter), New Delhi. The monthly meeting of the Delhi Chapter of APDI was convened to discuss all issues of mutual interest. Following were the executive member of Delhi Chapter who attended the meeting: Mr. R. S. Jagdev (President- Delhi Chapter) Mr. Ajit Singh Mr. Ashwinder Lamba Mr. Baldev Puri The Central Leadership has thought to elevate Mr. Ajit Singh to the National Level. Mr. Ajit Singh is the founder member of the Delhi Chapter of APDI and is an expert in organizational members. His appointment as General Secretary, National APDI is a matter of pride for Delhi Chapter. His ability to manage intricate issues and complexities were the sole consideration for his being accorded this honor. It was also felt that the devotion and commitment of Mr. Singh to the cause of the association makes him an ideal candidate for this covetous post. Mr. Ajit Page 1 of 7

2 Singh would also continue to be a part of the Delhi Chapter of APDI in his capacity as Prabhari (In-charge), North India. Thus, the guidance and inspirational leadership of Mr. Singh would continue to be available to the Delhi Chapter. Another change which has taken place is the appointment of Mr. Baldev Puri as General Secretary, APDI (Delhi Chapter). This development was also applauded by all members since the position carries with it the onerous responsibility of being the spokesperson of the APDI. The General Secretary is rightly regarded as the voice of the Association and Mr. Baldev Puri is undoubtedly a wise choice. On his part, Mr. Puri assured members of his unalloyed determination to justify the trust reposed in him by discharging his duties with utmost dedication and aplomb. He also expressed his commitment to be impartial, non-partisan and progressive in his approach. His desire to bring like-minded members into the fold of APDI is sure to yield rich dividends and lead APDI further towards its goals. The last momentous announcement was the elevation of Mr. Rajiv Kumar to the post of Vice President. Members expressed confidence in his ability to shoulder these responsibilities and come out with flying colors. PLAN OF ACTION TO INCREASE MEMBERSHIP DRIVE- APDI (DC) Another important issue that discussed in the meeting was the drive to increase the membership of APDI (DC). Mr. R.S. Jagdev suggested that a plan of action should be chalked out for new entrants to the profession of Investigation. According to him, as a beginning, a seminar can be conducted once in six months to inculcate into fresh entrants a whiff of what they should expect and how they should deal with situations. Such sessions will also teach them the code of ethics and ways and means of garnering new clients. Mr. Jagdev suggested that the presence of eminent guest speaker in such seminar can really create an impression and the audience can feel enriched and enlightened by tips received. In order to make their attendance at such seminars worthwhile, it was suggested that they should be issued a Certificate of Participation by APDI which they can display in their office. 3 certificate can be good till the end of the year during which period they can call themselves an Associate. In order to encourage more and more new comers to become member of APDI, it was suggested by Mr. Joginder Singh that APDI can send them a Welcome Letter and solicit their participation. INVESTIGATION TIMES : BE A PART OF IT. To make Investigation Times more informative and useful for readers, an Advertisement feature was introduced in last edition of newsletter where the members can share Press cuttings from newspapers, important court judgements, articles, write ups, case studies concerning the profession of Private Investigation and advertise their business card at a very nominal cost. In Delhi Chapter meeting, It was suggested by Mr. Puri that every member should voluntarily opt for 12 insertions by paying Rs.4500/- + service tax for advertisement in INVESTIGATION TIMES. In order to give some leeway to members for incurring this cost of advertisement, it was suggested that hard copies of Investigation Times should be sent to all Police Stations, Police Headquarters, Economic Offenses Wing, Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Industrial Area Association which would give wide and focused publicity to all members whose advertisements have appeared in the journal. It was also decided to use the social media extensively to publicize and promote the Investigation Times. In this direction, the Delhi Chapter has advocated the use of Facebook, Linked-in, Google etc so that our counterparts from other states can also avail the facility of placing advertisements in Investigation Times. The entire concept will be presented in a proper format to the Chairman, National APDI for his suggestions, inputs and approval. Members are optimistic of getting good results, once this is implemented. MEETING OF RAJASTHAN ASSOCIATION OF SECURITY & DETECTIVE AGENCIES. Rajasthan Association of Security & Detective Agencies called a meeting at its admin office on 28 th March, 2015 in Jaipur to discuss about growth of Members of association and to resolve certain issues with Page 3 of 7

4 regards to strengthening the motive of association. Mr. Ajay Sinha- President (Rajasthan Chapter) informed all members of RAOSDA about newly elected President APDI, Mr Subhash Wadhawan, his growth and contribution to our Industry and also distributed copies of APDI Times volume 9. Mr Ajay Sinha encouraged more members from Rajasthan to join APDI and get them licensed very soon under the proposed bills of PDAR. All members WELCOMED MR SUBHASH WADHAWAN to lead APDI TO NEW HEIGHTS. Suggestions for the betterment and improvement of the functioning of APDI are welcome for the consideration by the Governing Council. APDI members should submit their suggestions to the President, APDI on or before 30th April PRESS CUTTINGS HONEST CONVICT APDI GOVERNING COUNCIL MEETING The Governing Council meeting is scheduled to be held on May 16, 2015 at 0930 hrs at PHD House, New Delhi. We would revisit all those issues our Industry is facing in the forthcoming GC meeting to discuss and evolve a well structured strategy to achieve our common objectives. Also we would discuss on strengthening the State Chapters and membership drive. We would also review our achievements and progress made by the Industry. We will further Plan and set the milestones and objectives to be achieved in the next Financial Year Page 4 of 7
