1 SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS We are looking forward to another wonderful school year! Below is the list of supplies students will need for their classes. Please have these supplies by the first day of school, Tuesday, August 7 th. Students should label items with their name or initials when possible. Check with your student throughout the year to replenish materials as needed. Pre-K and Kindergarten school supplies, including crayons, glue, paint sets, pencils, erasers, scissors, art boxes, writing paper, etc. will be ordered by the school for each child. They only need to provide nap mats and earbuds or headphones. 1 st Grade Supply List Small school box for supplies 2 boxes of Crayola Crayons (box of 24) Box of colored pencils Scissors (Fiskars) One box of pencils, yellow #2 Eight (8) glue sticks 1 ½ inch, 3-ring binder (solid color with clear plastic cover for insert) One spiral notebook (70 pages, wide ruled) One red, plastic folder with 3 prongs and pockets One blue, plastic folder with 3 prongs and pockets One green, plastic folder with pockets (no prongs) One yellow, plastic folder with pockets (no prongs) Box of Kleenex 2 containers of Clorox wipes 2 black Expo markers 1 box of skinny Crayola markers One set of basic earphones for computer enrichment Book bag or other type of small bag to carry home notes and papers PLEASE, NO ROLLING BOOK BAGS Afternoon snack and drink 1 st Grade eats lunch early, so our class will have an afternoon snack time. You may send a snack and WATER in a thermos or bottle. Due to the carpet in the classrooms and to establish healthy eating habits we only allow water for snack time. 3 Technology Supply List for All Students Pre-K through 5 th Grade Each student in grades Pre-K through 5th must provide his or her own pair of earbuds/headphones for the technology enrichment class. The headphones may be any style determined to meet the needs of the student and parent. Please place the headphones in a Ziploc style bag, and clearly label the bag with the student s name, grade, and homeroom teacher. All headphones will be stored in the computer lab and only used by the student providing the headphones. Headphones are available at a variety of local stores. The Dollar Tree carries a variety of earbud style and Walkman style headphones priced at $1.00 and up. Kid-Safe headphones that regulate volume are available locally at Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Toys R Us. There are several brands that range in price from $15.00 to $ We politely request that you do not send expensive, high-end headphones such as Bose and Beats by Dre.
