We have found that with some of the other brands the eraser and metal ends immediately fall off. 6 glue sticks (no purple glue or roller glue please) (label) 1 box Kleenex (shared) 2-3 good erasers kneaded or white plastic (Magic Rub or Factis) 1 pair scissors (label) Headphones for tech lab with volume control (No USB) (label) One package of baby wipes (100 count or more - can be a refill without a box) (shared) 1-9 ¾ x 7 ½ composition book (100 pages/wide rule) 1 spiral notebook (wide rule/70 pages) A happy and enthusiastic attitude. 7 5 th Grade Classroom Supply List All students need to bring a comfort kit from home to keep at school for the year. The kit provides each child with personal items to comfort them if they must stay at school beyond normal hours due to an emergency. See the attached list for instructions on what to place inside the kit. Please send this kit the first week of school when you are bringing in the year s supplies. The following items are required supplies. Remember, some of these supplies may need to be replenished during the year. Please bring all supplies to school on the first day, where we will label them as needed. 8 Middle School Supply List Dear Parents and Students, Welcome to the Middle School year. An important part of the educational program at Brighton includes establishing effective study skills. Toward that end, students need to come to school, the first day, with the following basic supplies that are listed below. Classroom sets of colored pencils, markers, rulers, etc will be provided this year by Brighton School. (some supplies will be announced and need to be bought after the first day of school): Middle School Supply List: (bring the first day of school) 1 3 hole 2 ring zipper binder (vinyl doesn t last) 6 Dividers 1 Full size zippered pouch (with holes) containing pencils, pens, and erasers 1 Package notebook paper 1 Package graph paper 3 hole punched 1 Composition book 1 - Calculator for math - a TI-84 Plus graphing calculator will be needed for Algebra and Geometry. For Pre-Algebra, a scientific calculator such as the TI-34 multi-view is enough, however, you could always start learning the TI-84 early. 3 Large book covers for Spanish, Science & Math 1 - ipad case (must cover both sides of the ipad); Keyboard included in case strongly recommended 1 Pair of headphones or earbuds marked with student s name. (No USB) 1 Backpack (preferred without wheels, we are trying to conserve classroom space) 1 Comfort Kit for emergency preparedness (due first week of school) Please label all supplies with your child s name.
