2 Supreme The iconic Supreme Box logo. Since its debut in 1994, Supreme quickly gained respect in the underground streetwear community and is now quite mainstream. Despite its roots in skateboarding, it is now playing with high fashion and is a go-to clothing choice of both wealthy celebrities and typical (but fashionable) big-city slickers alike. Its simplicity and its DGAF attitute is what makes it so great, and they never sold out to go mainstream, which they easily could have done, but they only have a handful of locations across only fashion capitals: NYC, Paris, London, Tokyo. Fun story, there is a lot of controversy about the intellectual property of the original Supreme box logo, which is Futura Bold italic font in white with a red background. Supreme reportedly did not trademark its logo until 2013, nearly 20 years after its debut, after suing competing streetwear brand Married To The Mob for $10million. A parody brand called Shortypop with startlingly similar designs was paid $20,000 in a lawsuit to disappear. This marked a new milestone for parody brands everywhere because of the way that parody law was used in this case. Supreme also went on to do something that cemented its existence as a movement that went beyond a brand or a logo and also made it nearly impossible to parody. Its logo has changed and continues to change, even misspelled in some cases ("supream" in the above pictured "Gonz" Mark Gonzalez collection) or written in Arabic. Supreme's ability to totally twist its logo is an excellent indicator of the brand's future longevity and openness to further, crazier collaborations with items that are getting progressively higher and higher end. 3 Further proving its cult status as a movement that transcends fashion, Supreme isn't just known for its clothing. As expected, the skate brand has released a number of iconic skate decks including the notable example of the 2005 deck collaboration with iconic Englsh designer Peter Saville's 1979 "Joy Division" album cover. In addition to collaborations with well known artists and fashion brands, Supreme has also proved that it can slap its name on just about anything and make it worthwhile. Notable worthless accessories it has branded include a beach ball, stickers, and a NYC MTA Metro card. It has also released edgier items that go along with its image, including a crowbar, a shovel, lighters, and nunchucks. Expect the latter items to be quite popular among true Supreme f*ckboys. 4 A history of Iconic Supreme moments In addition to this legendary Travis Bickle "Taxi Driver" Tee pictured above, Supreme dropped a number of box logo tees addnd hoodies in plain colors like grey and black with its red box logo that command price tags in the thousands of dollars today. In 1995, Supreme started playing around with colors, releasing one of the most sought after tee colors to date, Teal. 5 1998 Bape x Supreme Perhaps the most expensive Box Logo t-shirt by Supreme, this clash of titans with Supreme and streetwear heavyweight BAPE will go down forever in history and command price tags in the thousands for years to come. If a collaboration between the two brands ever happens again, be sure to get it by any means necessary Supreme Arabic Tee This is one for the 'Preme connoisseurs, the low key flexers, or just the excited people who recognize this as their native script. Although it's not worth a fortune resale (around $220), its total obscurity as a Supreme item marked a milestone in the brand's ability to do whatever it wanted with its logo. 6 Supreme SB Nike Collabs Nike was not really known as a skateboarding shoe brand. To combat this, they unveiled their SB collection in The swoosh brand's reputation as a brand for skaters got a huge jump start with a strategic collaboration with Supreme, one of the most respected skate brands ever. Resale value remains high on these sought after kicks from both 2002 and 2003 that laid the groundwork for future SB's to come as well as further Supreme footwear collaborations with brands including Vans Supreme Kate Moss Tee There s a cool story behind this one that shows the spirit of Supreme. In 2004, Supreme and its fans were promoting the brand using the iconic red box logo stickers. They were appearing everywhere in NYC, and some ended up on a Calvin Klein underwear ad that featured Kate Moss. CK got so mad about this that they went on to sue Supreme. Turning an initial failure to an eventual win, Supreme took this event so lightly that they went on to make a T Shirt depicting the billboard vandalized with the sticker. Because of this, the Supreme Kate Moss remains iconic as an item that captures the soul of the brand. 7 2008 Supreme x Terry Richardson Highly controversial underground fashion photographer Terry Richardson, the perfect camera guy for Supreme, made waves with a photoshoot in 2008 for Supreme that included nasty NSFW pics of a girl barely covered in shreds that resembled clothing with the Supreme logo showcased in well placed areas. One of the milder pictures from the shoot ended up on the envied tee pictured above. This collection is also well known for a Kermit the frog tee Supreme x Adam Kimmel 2 Piece Suit An American high fashion designer with an Italian flair featured heavily in Vogue magazine is a least likely candidate for a collaboration with a skate brand. Although this corduroy suit is not particularly sought after nor does it have huge resale value ($800 market at $538 retail), it again marks another territory in the world of fashion that is not immune to Supreme s worldwide takeover. 8 2013 Supreme Camo Box Logo Hoodie Although Box logo hoodies have been dropping with equal or greater hype ever since the birth of the brand in 1994, 2013 saw a military touch that had hypebeasts going crazy. Two camo options for the hoodie were made available in 2013 and remain a central piece on the altar of Supreme worshippers Supreme x Nike Air Force / Foamposite 12 years before, Supreme had its first collaboration with Nike and Skateboarding, but now it would venture from the halfpipe to the basketball court and still prove an absolute smash hit with both the Air Force 1 and Foamposite. The AF-1 particularly is a noteworthy piece with the well deserved and accurate World Famous all capital lettering referencing the Supreme brand. 9 2016 Supreme Box Logo Hoodie Peach Pastel like pink, peach, and muted lime are known to most to signify WASPy New England prep, but Supreme said otherwise with a collection of monotone box logo hoodies in pastel colors, with the box logo the same color as the hoodie for each color. The peach colorway remains one of the most sought after and historic to date, proving that even 12 years later the brand is still innovating and maintaining hype. Here 15 year old self made fashion on IG is flexing this colorway Supreme x Louis Vuitton / Comme des Garçons In 2017, Supreme got in bed with not just one but two highly respected internationally acclaimed fashion brands, Louis Vuitton and Comme des Garçons. Although it may not be familiar to many, the latter is actually a Japanese brand despite its French name and shares runways and sits on shelves with the cream of the crop in high fashion. These are quite simple, They're just the box log, like the one pictured above, but on a T shirt or plain hoodie, in plain colors. These simple items command markups of up to 1000%, meaning you can profit $300++ per item you get. Rare examples from above will make you question what kind of madness these buyers are possessed with, and also what they do for a living to have such a "f*ck you" source of disposable income, which Supreme is all about. 12 Expensive Supreme Collaborations The Supreme Logo featured above on rumored Rolex watches and mashed up with Louis Vuitton, both courtesy of Instaram which is absolutely worth following if you want to be a Supreme reselling expert. One example of this hooplah was the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collaboration, which had retail prices in the thousands, making it almost look like these items could be immune to reselling. The naysayers were proven wrong when people where still paying thousands on top of the original thousands to get these super hyped items. Apparently there is a Rolex collaboration in the future, which will have retail prices in the tens of thousands and potential profits in that range as well. Recently, Supreme collabed with Fender to produce a super hyped guitar which also resold at juicy $ profit margins. Keep up with the news and do whatever it takes to get a hot collab with Supreme and a hot brand! Supreme x North Face, from the Fall/winter 2007 original collection. One collaboration that's worth mentioning on its own is the Supreme x North Face collaboration Since its debut way back in 2007, this marriage between the two brands has been happening yearly and its debut ALWAYS commands high resale margins. 13 A run down on Supreme's online website. Part of the magic of Supreme is that it just doesn't give a f*ck about anything. Supreme shuts down its website entirely in between seasons (SS=Spring summer: Late Feb- Late July, FW=Fall Winter: Late August- December), which means about 3-4 months a year you can't buy anything on Supreme's website. When the website is up, there's pretty shitty UI/UX (user interface /experience) like slivers of pictures where you can hardly tell what the items are. Fortunately there's a little hack to get directly to your desired item... Take note of these following URL extensions of different Supreme clothing items. 14 Buying Supreme in store If you happen to live in or within close range of these major cities, or if you're making a vacation to one of these cities, it is worth making an in store visit to one of these shops. New York City Paris London Tokyo Osaka Fukuoka Nowadays at a Supreme store, you can't just show up in front of the store on the day of the release hoping to wait in a line that's not that long. You need to register just to be in that line. They did this to prevent crazy crowds that often bring attention of the local police which causes the release to shut down entirely, which happens often with first come first serve Nike shoe drops in cities like NYC and LA. You'll need to get on their secret list to be able to register for raffles. To do so, you need to talk to a bouncer or employee. Supreme employees are notorious for being shitty and unfriendly. Just play cool, don't look like you're a straight up reseller, ideally buy something. You could probably sell the item for what you bought it so it's not like you're losing much money, maybe $10 to ship whatever you bought, and this is totally worth being on the list to wait in line. Ask them if you can be on their list to wait in line for the next release. They'll give you an address. that address with your name, you'll probably have to say something specific like "I want to be on this list". Once you're on the list, you'll be given directions that are kind of like a treasure hunt to show up at a specific location at a certain time, normally the Monday before the release. Head towards that location as soon as you can after you get the , which normally comes between 9:00AM and 10:00AM. Once there, find a bouncer or employee and say you want to sign up for the list. Be sure to actually show up at the time they give you, with an ID that matches your name that you registered with. A no show, even once, will cause you to be dropped from the list. They'll give you a time on Thursday when you should show up, the earlier the better. Sometimes they give you a number so you get an idea of how many people are ahead of you. Again, show up on time. *disclaimer: this whole process is from my experience in NYC, so it may not be the same for LA or London. 15 Supreme bots Important Disclaimer: Not only are bots actively combatted by Supreme, bots don't always work, or they have a short lifespan of working. People have had success with bots in the past. We won't go in depth into all of the components of cooking with bots like we do in the full 5 part Six Figure Sneakerhead guide, but we'll mention some bots that come up in the Supreme community. Here's a little list. Buy at your own due diligence, or just look at it out of curiosity, as copping manually with no bot is still the best way to do it (we'll get to that on the next page). No guarantees of success are made, but these are names that come up often with active users. Forcecop $ Easy to use chrome extension with good captcha solving ease. Lower price reflects spotty reliability success is a maybe, but it s good to get familiar with using bots. Supercop/Supercop Pro $ Similar to Forcecop, with price reflecting quality. Good user interface and a cool ios option so you can cop from iphone. CasperCop $50-$125 ios (iphone) only bot, easy to use. It s often sold out though, on twitter, the owner of the bot, for updates of restocks and support. Swiftpreme $80 Another ios bot. Super clean and easy user interface. Currently sold out, check them out on twitter Supreme Slayer $ A bit of a learning curve, you may want to get into private forums are groups, some paid, that will teach you to use the bot. Ranges from personal to business use ($150 is the basic bot with options in between ranging up to the ultimate business level $550 bot with high volume capabilities.) AIO Macbot (aka Taskbot) $400 This bot sells out despite its pricetag. You ll have to buy it on the aftermarket or wait for a restock. 16 Buying Supreme online without a bot Supreme has taken much action against bots in the past years. Some of the above bots are successful, however sometimes if you don't set up everything absolutely right, your order gets canceled and may leave you banned forever from the site. Here are a few non-bot strategies that promise varying levels of success. Some swear they work better than bots, and they certainly don't have the consequences. Step one is to download the Google Chrome browser if you don't have it already, as it is required for the most successful strategies that we're about to lay out. It helps to have a direct URL. Refer to the URL section in this guide and double check that they're accurate for the release. Going directly to the Sweatshirt category instead of squinting and guessing what sliver is the BOGO hoodie will save you precious seconds and give you a huge edge on the manual cop, easily putting you in the top percentage of people going after Supreme items as most people simply go to Fill fast and pray Just as it says. Go online right at 11:00AM, quickly select your desired item, and type away. Supreme is said to cancel orders that look like bots made them, and by typing, you're guaranteed not to look like a bot. This has worked for me in the past, most notably on the Supreme x Air Jordan 5's which had a resale value of around $600 at a $190 retail. Copy and paste One step above the fill fast and pray method, you have a file saved somewhere with all of your address and card information. Copy and paste each field in individually. 17 Chrome Autofill Go to the chrome extension store to make use of this free feature that many people swear by. It's the one with the lightning bolt. You'll have to manually click your items and the checkout button, but once you're on the item's checkout page, your previous info will be remembered. Before you use it live for a drop, make sure you pre fill in your info in a dummy order, then once all the fields are filled out with current address and payment information, be sure to record it with AutoFill so you'll be able to us it live for a drop. Fillr Chrome extension Fillr is one step up above Autofill. It's PIN protected and is more user friendly for storing different payment information. Also, they have their own free Supreme specific autofill that will greatly increase your chances of getting supreme at retail without the use of an expensive and risky bot. NOTE: These free extensions don't always work, so we suggest you try PremePro at premepro.com if you're still having trouble finding or configuring these options for another tool to add to your arsenal. 18 Sneaky pro tip: Loading up autofill in between seasons So you've discovered Supreme reselling and want to get a start by pre loading your Autofill before a live drop. Unfortunately, the drop will be the first of the season, and since Supreme's website isn't up, you can't refill it in time for the release!!! *Oh no! Whatamigonnadooooo???!??!* Panic not, for here is a solution that many people don't know of! (shhhhh) Gyazo is a free screen capture where your computer will recognize forms as if they were live. 19 Supreme buying case study: BOGO Hoodie FW 2017 Notes: the first two screenshots show a transaction that eventually failed. In the second picture, although it says that the hoodie is in the cart, there is no cart icon to be found, so it's impossible to checkout. You need to be sure that you go through the entire payment process, and get the confirm, and if you're selling on ebay blur out your order number as someone really shitty can cancel your order if they call Supreme with it. 21 Supreme on aftermarkets First of all, watch out for fakes. Don't get burned in the aftermarket. As for detailed pictures, do your own research, and when in doubt, ask Reddit for help by showing them pictures of your item using an album on Here are some of the best aftermarkets for both buying and selling Supreme ebay Day by day, ebay is becoming more littered with fakes despite their actions against such sellers. Red flags are low or non existent seller reputation, prices that are too cheap, and large quantities of the same item from China. ebay is still great for selling or buying Supreme, it's best to use ebay during the day of a release and the few days following the release. These are the times that ebay is most likely to have legit sellers around. Otherwise, avoid ebay for buying on aftermarket. Grailed This street fashion selling platform is awesome because you get to see a buyer's reputation and his past customers. Buy from established sellers. Follow them regularly, and every now and then you'll snag an amazing deal for below market. StockX Originally just a shoe only platform, StockX is now incorporating streetwear. Although this is generally shitty, if you are a man of your word with price and time, the cream of the crop will notice you as a businessman in a world of children and you can quickly establish a lucrative relationship for you as the seller. Even if you get burned once by a seller or buyer, don't feel the need to get revenge on someone totally unrelated. Stick to this principle of staying true to your word and your bank account and everyone else in your life will thank you. Remember that reputation is everything, stick to it, it's the #1 ingredient in your success, whether it's selling Supreme or any other goal you have in life.
