1 Accidental Adventure Assembly and Rules of Play Assembly Instruction To play this game, you will need a 6-colored spinner or dice with 6 colored stickers affixed. This game will also work with an Eggspert Quizzing System, set to Wheel of Fortune mode with all eggs set in the on position. Print the pages of cards on colored paper that the colors on your spinner or dice. Every 2 pages of cards will need their own color of paper. (Ex. If you have a spinner with pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, print pages 2-3 on pink paper, pages 4-5 on orange, and so on). Page 14 includes an image that may be printed on the back of all of the card pages. Cut and laminate the cards. Rules of Play Place cards face-down in 6 decks, arranged by color. Divide students into two teams and choose a team to go first. The team spins the spinner or rolls the die to determine a color, then must pick and answer a card of that color. If the team answers correctly, they may keep the card. If they answer incorrectly, the card is placed back on the bottom of the deck. Play continues with the next team. The goal of the game is to collect the most cards in an allotted amount of time. Bonus Cards A number of bonus cards are scattered throughout the deck. Bonus cards do NOT count toward a team s final card total. Bonus cards should be used as follows: Lose a Turn If a team draws this, they will not answer another question card. Play resumes with their next turn. Take an Extra Turn The team will draw two cards from their designated card deck, and may answer both. Quiz Off When a quiz off card is drawn, the teacher should draw the next card from the designated deck and read it aloud. The first team to answer the card correctly earns the card. A Quiz Off card does not count as a team s turn. Following the Quiz Off, play resumes with the team that initially drew the card. Get Out of Jail Free Teams may keep this card and use it to redeem a wrong answer. Drawing this card does not count as a team s turn. If it is drawn, a team should draw the next card in the designated deck and answer it. Score Swap If this card is drawn, teams swap all of their accumulated cards.
