1 Behavior is the mirror in which everyone shows their image. Introduction: Non-verbal reasoning as the questions appear in diagrammatic and pictorial form. Such test are also called diagrammatic or abstract reasoning tests. Non-verbal reasoning involves the ability to understand and analyze visual information and solve problems using visual reasoning. Diagrammatic reasoning: (also called abstract reasoning) tests provide good measures of general intelligence. They involve evaluating processes represented via diagrams, understanding logical rules and process diagrams and identifying causes. Abstract reasoning is used where the ability to cope with complexity and deal with novelty is required rather than relying on previous experience. Spatial reasoning: It is the ability we use to position and orientate ourselves in everyday environments. This ability is present in all animals and humans to a more or lesser extent. Spatial reasoning consists of two main abilities namely spatial visualization ability which is your ability to call up images in your mind and the ability to reason with these images. Example: Which group of shapes can be assembled to make the shape shown? Example: Which symbol in the best completes the sequence in the Problem Figure? In this example, the question figure is rotated clockwise through 90 degrees each time. The answer is therefore option C which represents the last shape rotated through a further 90 degrees. Option 'C' cannot be correct because the area of the shapes is simply too large. Similarly 'A' is too small. You are then left with only two sets of shapes that you actually need to mentally manipulate. They are two triangles in option D, but we want one triangle. So D is also eliminated. Types of problems in spatial reasoning: Mirror images: Given an object that has many inner characteristics, select the mirror image of said object. You will be given 4 answers to choose from ensuring that the shapes and colors are in the correct mirrored positions. Example: Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the mirror image of the given combination. NOTE: when you check the problems, you will need to use the original divisor, not the flipped one

2 The Correct answer is Option A. From the given options, we need to check the arrow which is opposite to the given figure. Next, check the line which crosses the arrow. Option A, B and D is flipped to the given figure. But in B and D the line is not correct. Shape Construction: Given a number of pieces of a deconstructed shape, you can place them back together to form the original shape back. Example: Select the alternative which represents three out of the five alternative figures which when fitted into each other would form a complete square. Power Rangers: Multiply a 3-digit number by 111. Use the right to left sweeps of 1,2,3,2 & 1 digit. Example: 111 * * 234 = ****4. (Write down the 4.) 111 * 234 = ***74. (3 + 4=7) 111 * 234 = **974. ( = 9) 111 * 234 = *5974 (2 + 3=5) 111 * 234 = 25,974 (Write down the 2) Embedded Images: These questions, you are given a figure followed by four alternative figures such that problem figure is embedded in one of them. We need to trace out the problem figure from the given option. Example: Find out the alternative figure which contains figure (X) as its part. A. 123 B. 234 C. 125 D. 124 Hence the correct answer is Option C. Image Analysis: These questions involve 2 D shapes that have been cut-up into pieces. You are asked to match the pieces to the shape that they came from. Example: Find out which of the figures (1), (2), (3) and (4) can be formed from the pieces given in figure (X). We need to find out from amongst the four alternatives as to how the pattern would appear when the transparent sheet is folded at the dotted line.
