Floodway networks inform Long Term Water Plans being developed as part of the implementation of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan Process makes balanced plans for all floodplain users, including the environment Greater understanding of flood behaviour across the extent of major flooding achieved through extensive LiDAR capture and computer advancements to run hydraulic models.
