We are working hard to upgrade our online catalog to a searchable version, with prices, information, color chips, links to manufacturer web pages, mobile device compatibility, and with links to safety data sheets. Please visit and enter your keywords into the search bar for detailed product information. You might search by using supplier names like Plainsman, Spectrum, Kemper, and Skutt. You can also search with general terms such as low fire, glaze, tool, and sculpture if you want a broader search. Or, if you know that you want to find a specific product by name, you can enter M370, Potter's Choice, Kaolin, or other product names to take you right to the individual items. You may notice that some items in the upgraded catalog will have a bold "i" in the description, and this is a clickable link to additional information for you. 4 Stilts Stilts are generally used at low temperature - cone 06, to support pieces that have been glazed on the bottom. The clay the stilts are made from is a high temperature body, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend firing above cone 6 as the nichrome wire may bend. #0... (1/4")... $1.20 #1/2... K-23 brick are the most commonly used choice, as they insulate better, are lighter, and cheaper than the K-26 brick. K-23 brick are rated to 2300 F.
