Especially designed for L3 laboratories, the Precellys Evolution is based on 10 years of sample preparation expertise. The instrument s unique figure-8 multi-directional motion provides the same high level of energy and homogenization efficiency to each tube. The Precellys Evolution has the capability to process 4 different sizes of tubes and up to 24 tubes simultaneously. Its flexibility and high efficiency gives users the ability to grind, homogenize or lyse any type of soft or hard sample from animal, human, plant or microorganism, in about 30 seconds. It is the perfect solution for either routine applications or specific R&D projects. 4 PRECELLYS 24 Tissue homogenizer Grind and homogenize a wide range of biological samples with Precellys 24! Designed for L3 laboratories, it is highly robust for daily use. The system enables the preparation of up to 24 biological samples from soft to hard tissue (animal & human tissue, plant tissue, microorganisms ) and has been validated on more than 1000 different samples: from brain, muscle and heart samples to very hard matter such as bones, hair and rice. A figure-8 multi-directional motion gives a high energy to the beads that grind up to 24 samples in few seconds (~30 sec) at speed ranging from 4000 to 6800 rpm. Samples are then ready for analysis using DNA/RNA analysis, PCR, Electrophoresis, Liquid Chromatography, Western Blot. 8 CRYOLYS Cooling unit for sensitive samples preparation Cryolys is the only patented cooling unit that prevents the increase of temperature during lysing. It enhances the efficiency of molecular extraction, resulting in premium quality analysis, maintaining temperature around 4 C before and during homogenization. It enables the extraction of stable RNA and native-state proteins. Cryolys is compatible with Precellys 24 and Precellys Evolution homogenizers. Cold air (-50 C) is sprayed around each tube so the temperature during homogenization remains at around 4 C. A probe enables real-time monitoring of the temperature inside the lid, thus protecting sensitive molecules from degradation during sample preparation.
