Intrigued by this uniquelyshaped cross, we bought several to give as gifts to friends and family. It wasn t long before they, too, wanted to share this gift with others, as a way to pray, to encourage hope, to celebrate special occasions, or let someone know they care. As requests for the Holding Crosses grew, we launched The Good Gift Company in 2004, basing the name on James 1:17, Every good and perfect gift is from above. Our own Holding Crosses are very meaningful to us. We ve taken them to the operating room and the prayer room, on our travels, to celebrations, and grandchildren s baptisms. What a reassurance on sleepless nights a tangible symbol of the true hope, real comfort, and unfailing mercy of Christ.
