2 Dear customers and friends, It is a pleasure for us to be able to present this catalogue of our new collections designed by Preciosa - Lustry s top artists for the FIAM 2003 fair in the Spanish city of Valencia. Our company developed these lighting fixtures from the first sketches to the final product. Preciosa - Lustry has its own designer team. They follow the latest trends in architecture drawing inspiration from them in designing new products. We have been successful in using traditional techniques handed down from generation to generation since 1724 when the history of chandelier making began in Bohemia. A high proportion of handwork guarantees the originality of our products. Sensitively combining these centuries-old techniques with the state-of-the-art technologies, we create decorative lighting fixtures whose unique design, elegance and exceptional quality put the finishing touch to modern as well as classical or period interiors. On the occasion of the FIAM fair, we want to please our customers with a special treat: on buying any of the selected chandeliers from the Euroluce collection each customer will get a unique gift of an original design a hand shaped glass bowl. Its design is based on the distinctive decorative feature of our lighting fixtures and so the bowl makes an excellent complement to the bought chandelier. MARKING OF TRIMMING QUALITY The selection of trimming of an appropriate quality is an important decision to make when buying lighting fixtures. We want to make this decision-making easier for you and that s why we have classified the trimmings into three categories, whose names express their characteristics: PREMIUM These trimmings impress in a very luxurious manner. Their unique brilliance and fire is provided through the use of crystal that is rich in lead (more than 30 % PbO), the geometric precision of the cut, and the perfect machine treatment of the surface. These pieces are suitable for the most prestigious of interiors. STANDARD This range of trimmings, which are machine or hand-cut from lead-rich crystal, is characterized by iridescent brilliance. These trimmings are suitable for customers who are looking for quality at an attractive price. TRADITIONAL These trimmings, made of lead-free glass, are typical for the traditional production of lighting fixtures in Bohemia. This is why they are often used in the manufacture of replicas of historic lighting fixtures.
