Solid beechwood feet treated with acrylic paint. Production Murano glass is processed with glass fusion techniques so that fronts have a thickness of about 10 cm. Further processing stages in the furnace enable the bending and gauging of the glass. The different parts feature a drop finishing to achieve round, polished, soft and smooth edges along the entire perimeter. The wooden frame is covered using a hot pressing process. The different elements are joined at 45 degrees, therefore the furniture features the typical monolith look, without any visible joint. The fastening of the elements in wood and glass is the result of a process thought for this furniture, based on the on site structural positioning. The pieces can be combined together matching their lines, thanks to a metallic spacer (not visible) that guarantees the regular continuity of the wavy surface pattern in Murano glass. Push and open mechanism with steel guideways and rollers, the maximum opening exposes 75% of the drawer, equal to 30 cm. For Abbiani, the Made in Italy is a quality and origin guarantee.
