1 Chic Tennis Bracelet II Chic Tennis Bracelet II MATERIALS 3mm faceted hex spacer beads (200) 3mm Swarovski Bicone crystals (80) 11/0 Seed beads (100) 15/0 Seed beads (160) 2mm metallic round beads (20) Bracelet clasp or 10mm toggle 2 Beading Needles (size 12) Two needle crossweave (RAW) lays the foundation for this bracelet. The bracelet above was beaded in silver spacers, fuchsia silver lined seed beads and Siam colored crystals. However, you can use any colors you desire. 2 Take both needles and go through a spacer bead. The needles will go through the bead in the opposite direction away from one another. Pull the thread tight. Pull the bead to make sure it is in the center of your thread so that both needles are an equal distance away from the bead. Put one spacer on the right needle. Put one spacer on the left needle. Then, put both needles through one spacer again, crisscrossing one another as described above. Pull the thread tightly and the four spacers will make a square shape. You do not have to have both needles in the bead at the same time. You can do one and then the other. Put one spacer on the right needle. Put one spacer on the left needle. Then, put both needles through one spacer again, crisscrossing one another as described above. Pull the thread tightly. Repeat this until the bracelet is the length that you want. Take into consideration the length of the clasps. Pull the thread as tight as you can after each set is beaded. Take your left needle and go through 2 spacer beads. Take your right needle and go through 1 spacer bead. Put the top (left) needle down through the spacer on the bottom (right) thread. Pull thread tightly Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 2

3 Take your top needle and go through 2 spacer beads. Take your bottom needle and go through 1 spacer bead. Take the top needle down through the spacer on the bottom thread. Pull thread tightly. Put your bottom thread through the spacer directly to the left of the spacer the thread is coming out of. Pull both threads tightly to the bottom at a rightward angle to line up the spacer beads in the correct position. Take your top needle and go through 2 spacer beads Take your bottom needle and go up through the second bead, crossing in the opposite direction of the thread that is already in the spacer. Put your bottom thread through the spacer directly to the left of the spacer the thread is coming out of. Pull both threads tightly to the bottom at a rightward angle to line up the spacer beads in the correct position. Continue the directions for the last two pictures until you reach the end. Take the thread coming out of the bottom center spacer and go through the lowest right hand spacer towards the right Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 3

4 Take the other thread and go through the bottom right spacer towards the left. Put one round bead on the needle. Take the needle you are holding and go through the bottom left spacer towards the left. Pull the thread tightly so that the round bead fits in between the two bottom spacers. Put 4 round beads on your left thread. Put 4 round beads on your right thread. Put both needles through 1 spacer bead. Put both needles through the loop on your clasp. Pull thread tightly. Take your right needle and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads to the right, across the center spacer, round bead and spacer, and back up the other side, through the 4 round beads, the spacer and the clasp again. Take the same needle and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads and pull the thread tightly. Leave that needle alone now. Take your left needle and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads to the left, across the center spacer, round bead and spacer, and back up the other side, through the 4 round beads, the spacer and the clasp again. Take the same needle and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads and pull the thread tightly. Put one round bead on your needle and go through the first spacer bead on the bottom right side Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 4

5 Put one size 11 seed bead on the thread. Go through the spacer directly next to the spacer where your thread is coming out. You will continue to bead one size 11 seed bead in between each spacer bead, down the side all the way to the other end. Do not pull the thread too tightly or the bracelet will kink up. Occasionally take both ends in your hands and pull on the bracelet to straighten it out. Flip the bracelet over. Pick up the needle coming out of the round beads and put one round bead on the needle. Go through the first spacer bead on the bottom right side. Put one size 11 seed bead on the thread. Go through the spacer directly next to the spacer where your thread is coming out. Continue to bead one size 11 seed bead in between each spacer bead, down the side all the way to the other end. Take your right needle and go back through the bottom right spacer bead, Put a round bead on the needle. Go through the bottom left spacer bead. Now that thread should be coming out of the left side Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 5

6 Take your left needle and go through the bottom left spacer bead, the center round bead and the spacer on the bottom right side. Now that thread should be coming out of the right side. P Put 4 round beads on your left thread. Put 4 round beads on your right thread. Put both needles through 1 spacer bead. Put both needles through the loop on your clasp. Pull thread tightly. Now, take each needle separately and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads, across the center spacer, round bead and spacer, and back up the other side, through the 4 round beads, the spacer and the clasp again. Take your needles and go through the spacer bead, the four round beads and pull the thread tightly. Pick up the bottom needle coming out of the round beads and put one round bead on the needle. Go through the first spacer bead on the bottom right side. Take the bottom needle and go up through the second spacer to the left of the clasp loop. It will be directly above the spacer where the thread is coming out Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 6

7 Now, take the bottom needle and go up through the first spacer to the left of the clasp loop. It will be directly to the right of the spacer you just threaded through. On your bottom needle, put one size 15 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one size 15 seed bead. Take the needle and go up through the spacer to the left of where the thread is coming out of. Pull thread tightly so that the crystal sits in the cavern. The thread will always be coming out of the top of the spacer. Put one size 15 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one size 15 seed bead on your needle. Continue to bead to the left putting on the crystal sets as described in the picture above. When you reach the end, put your needle up through the center round bead and the spacer bead directly above that Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 7

8 Flip the bracelet around. Take your needle, skip the round bead and go through the spacer beads and size 11 beads on the edge of the bracelet in a straight line. Tie a knot on the existing thread and bead through some more beads in the line. Tie another knot and bead some more. Pull the bracelet tightly by holding on to both clasps. Cut the thread you were using near the end of that side. Flip the bracelet around. Put a round bead on the needle. Put the needle through the first spacer bead on the bottom left side of the bracelet. Take the needle and go up through the second spacer to the right of the clasp loop. It will be directly above the spacer where the thread is coming out of. Now, take the needle and go up through the first spacer to the right of the clasp loop. It will be directly to the left of the spacer you just threaded through Abbey Mckenna - DECOBEAD 8

9 On your needle, put one size 15 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one size 15 seed bead. Take the needle and go up through the spacer to the right of where the thread is coming out of. Pull thread tightly so that the crystal sits in the cavern. The thread will always be coming out of the top of the spacer. Put one size 15 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one size 15 seed bead on your needle. Continue to bead to the right putting on the crystal sets as described in the picture above. When you reach the end, put your needle up through the center round bead and the spacer bead directly above that. Skip the round bead. Start going through all the spacers and size 11 seed beads in a straight line. Tie a knot on the existing thread and bead through some more beads in the line. Tie another knot and bead some more. Pull the bracelet tightly by holding on to both clasps. Cut the thread you were using near the end of that side. The metal faceted hex spacer beads come in silver, gold and copper. Choose your round metal beads and clasp to match the color of your spacer beads. The seed beads and crystals can be in any color combination.
