GENEVA, October 10th, 2016: Franck Dubarry launches its Revolution collection on the market, which made Baselworld 2016 sit up and take notice when the brand first presented it. An audacious collection of dashing creativity, which affirms the designer s desire to bring a new perspective to the watchmaking industry REV0401
3 A TRIBUTE TO GLOBETROTTERS As a great traveler himself, the brand s eponymous designer, Franck Dubarry, naturally wanted to develop an automatic GMT watch. He imagined his timepieces as true guides, able to satisfy even the most pragmatic traveler s requirements. This Hommes et Femmes collection stamps its personality on the fine lineage of GMT watches, breaking classical conventions of a 12-hour revolution with a 24-hour dial that highlights two time zones. INSPIRED BY ARGENTINIAN STREET ART His passion for different cultures draws Franck Dubarry to make regular stops in Argentina, where he feels a strong connection with the country s artespecially Fileteado Porteño, born in the back streets of Buenos Aires in the early 20th century when it was brought over by immigrants from Italy. The whole decorative repertoire and emblematic style of this artistic movement are manifest in the Revolution design. One glance is all it takes to be smitten. First to catch the eye is its novel case, with curved lines and spiraling scrolls engraved like a luminous filigree pattern. The Revolution Gold model, with its rose gold case encircled with a diamond-studded bezel, offers sheer delicacy and femininity. Another version plays on more masculine aesthetics - a carbon bezel and an anthracite gray background to the dial. The dial (white or gray) is decorated with colorful arabesques. Flowers, hearts and vanitas symbols intertwine to create an original, hand-painted design. Jaunty colors inject a sense of freshness. The Revolution Titanium model boasts a Grade 5 Titanium case. The dial s background is hammered like a silver coin to produce striking contrasts and reveal unexpected plays of light. AN ODE TO LIBERTY Franck Dubarry reinterprets watchmaking design in the light of the philosophical values handed down to him from the French Revolution, to create a contemporary designer object. Every model features different shades in a harmonious composite, so it has a character all its own. From the resolutely rock n roll attitude of the Revolution Titanium to the radiant softness of the Revolution Gold, the myriad styles are testimony of the brand s creative talent. The back of the movement bears an engraving of the brand s motto, Libertas, Intrepidus, Honor -an ode to creative freedom, liberty, and the renewal of art. The lugs have been carefully worked to ensure ergonomic comfort. Extending from the lugs, an Elastogator strap affords comfort and practicality, while bringing a finishing touch of elegance.

6 FRANCK DUBARRY 2014 Franck Dubarry decided to return to the watchmaking industry to create a new and eponymous brand with one simple ambition: to create a luxury watch brand that dares to be different in an industry built on extremely traditional codes. Franck Dubarry watches are designed for men and women who love freedom, wide-open spaces and pure design that can withstand the test of time. They are the accessory an extensive traveler would want to wear in vast lands where social constraints are a figment of the imagination. Their sole aim is to grow the emotions created through the history of the relationship in the eye of the wearer. Franck Dubarry loves to create innovative designs and combinations, as he proved when he was in charge of TechnoMarine. No less than 1000 watches created in less than 10 years. He was, in fact, the first to combine colorfull synthetic materials used in combination with diamonds to create sports watches. He is now developing a brand that bears his own personal values, the result of his training, experience and extensive travels. The most innovative techniques are used as a base for his creative aspirations. More generally, his different collections embody freedom to be oneself in a world that tends towards uniformity. His vision offers the possibility to choose an accessory that reflects an aesthetic and personal choice.
7 L i b e r ta s I ntr e p i d u s Honor Franck Dubarry unveiled his first collection, Crazy Balls, with a revolutionary (patented) sophisticated complication that is unique, symbolizing technical freedom. This was followed by the Crazy Colors collection that offers an explosive cocktail, the combination of a chronograph, usually a male complication, and semi-precious stones Franck Dubarry launched his iconic collection, the Revolution Fileteado. He drew his inspiration from Argentina, from which he borrowed from the early Italian immigrant during the 1020 s both the Art Nouveau and calavera art movements. An audacious collection of dashing creativity, it affirms the designer s desire to bring a new perspective to the watchmaking industry. At the same time, he also designed a more sporty collection, the Intrepidus collection, consisting of three ranges: Racer, Rider and Diver. The perfect companion for an active lifestyle, these watches offer a stylish design paired with an incredibly varied choice of colors. To coincide with Baselworld 2017, the brand is picking up the pace and offering two new collections: Crazy Wheel and Yin Yang. The Crazy Wheel line is fitted with a rotating bridge. The minutes are displayed using a bridge that rotates 360 degrees around the dial and the hour is located in a sub-counter that also rotates around the dial. The Yin Yang is a collection inspired by Franck Dubarry s passion for martial arts and their symbols: the koi carp and the lotus flower. This delicate collection boasts a sculpted motherof-pearl dial, proving that yet again the designer knows how to use technology to get the best out of his ideas!
