2 ABOUT MYCELIUM STUDIOS MYCELIUM STUDIOS HAS BEEN OPERATING AS A CREATIVE HUB AND CONSULTANCY FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS IN JOHNSTON STREET, ABBOTSFORD. WE PROVIDE SPACES AND CREATIVE FACILITIES FOR LOCAL ARTIST AND ENTREPRENEURS ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF DISCIPLINES INCLUDING INDUSTRIAL DESIGN, FILM AND MUSIC. 4 ABOUT THE SPACE OUR NEW PREMISES OF APPROXIMATELY 2000 SQM WILL OFFER SECURE, AFFORDABLE TENANCIES AND A CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT TO INCUBATE AND SUPPORT EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED ARTISTS, START-UPS AND ORGANISATIONS. Our experience has shown that working in a multidisciplinary creative environment fosters collaboration between artists, creates opportunities to contribute to public arts programs and develops meaningful community engagement with the creative industries.

5 OUR VISION MYCELIUM STUDIOS IS THE CULMINATION OF A SHARED BELIEF - CREATIVITY ALLOWS THE HUMAN SPIRIT TO FLOURISH. SEEMINGLY IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGES CAN BE EASILY AND EFFECTIVELY OVERCOME, COMPLEXITY MADE INTO OPPORTUNITY WHILST ENJOYING AND GAINING REAL VALUE FROM THE PROCESS.

6 OUR VISION IT IS OUR OPINION THAT HIERARCHICAL BUSINESS AND POWER STRUCTURES ARE OUTDATED. THEY WILL SOON BE REPLACED WITH MORE EFFECTIVE MODELS OF DECENTRALIZED NETWORKS OF SOCIAL ENTERPRISE. AS WE LAUNCH MYCELIUM STUDIOS MARK II, WE CONTINUE TO CONNECT INTO THIS EVER-EXPANDING LOCAL AND GLOBAL MOVEMENT OF PROGRESSIVE THINKERS, INSPIRED ARTISTS, INNOVATIVE SCIENTISTS, ENGINEERS, VISIONARIES, ACTIVISTS AND HEALERS.
