Project Scoping, Bidding and Preconstruction Planning o Defining project scope. o Pre-Qualification process. o Bidding process. o Overview of preconstruction planning aspects including area and site investigation, constructability review, site layout planning, contractor s site (team) organization chart, preliminary schedules, mobilization plan o Site Selection and Factory Layout Project Planning, Scheduling and Controlling by Deterministic Models o Work Breakdown Structure. o Project activities and their types. o Estimating activity durations. o Establishing activity sequencing. o Arrow diagram and Node diagram. o Scheduling using Rectangular bar chart. o CPM calculations. o Determining the minimum total cost of a project. o Resource scheduling and leveling. o S-curve. o Cash flow analysis. o Project control during construction. o Project supervision. o Schedule and Cost Control.
