4 1 Introduction Since 2001, Cryptomathic has done intensive research in electronic voting following up on research done at the University of Aarhus and all over the world. This research combined with intelligent patenting policies and existing products of Cryptomathic relevant for e-voting has brought Cryptomathic in a quite unique position for delivering e-voting technology. In addition to the scrutiny provided by the experts of Cryptomathic, the results of the research have been published in serious scientific journals and have been presented for maximally competent scientific audiences in a number of presentations at conferences and at universities and research centers. 1.1 Purpose The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the scientific publications and presentations performed by Cryptomathic during the course of the e-voting project. Events and publications directed at a general scientific audience, nonscientific audience or potential customers including governments have been excluded, as have trials. 1.2 Intended Audience The document is of interest to persons who wants to gain deep insight in the scientific aspects of the selected e-voting protocol and possible extensions of the protocol. It may further have some general interest to persons interested in the processes that have led to the current state of the Cryptomathic e-voting technology. This is so because thorough dissemination to relevant scientific audiences is the best guarantee that no mistakes have happened in the design of the protocols. 4
