1 THE SMART NETWORK INTERNATIONAL TRAINING SOLUTIONS & SERVICES
2 UNDERSTANDING TOMORROW S CHALLENGES Emeric d ARCIMOLES Commissioner General International Paris Air Show The development perspectives underlying the aerospace sector activities worldwide result from sustainable growth dynamics, perceptible in all its market segments. These dynamics carry many key challenges, among which the training of the customers, suppliers and partners of the French industry is certainly not the least. With an annual number of passengers estimated to 7 billion by 2034* and a space market valued at more than 81.4 billion USD by 2024*, the aerospace industry constitutes one of the most dynamic sectors worldwide. Ever-changing markets, new entrants, technological breakthroughs: these are the key challenges facing the stakeholders of this very rapidly evolving sector. Today, the competitive advantages don t rely only on technical criteria anymore, but also on human capital development. Do you want to boost the career of your decisionmakers or to uncover the talents of your managers? Are you addressing a specific issue which requires new skills development? Are you considering enhancing the aerospace industry in your country through the development of your educational capabilities? Do you need to strengthen your technical expertise in terms of engineering, supply chain, propulsion, composite materials, etc.? * sources: International Air Transport Association (IATA) - November 2015 Euroconsult: - November 2016

7 Cristian RAMOS Rear Admiral, Director of Research & Development programs - Armada de Chile I belong to a group of people who have been trained in French aerospace programs. The Alumni Network s members have followed the same kind of training sessions and therefore, they have several things to share together, in their professional lives, and why not also on a personal level. LEVERAGING OUR NETWORKS For, the notion of extensive network is not limited just to the professionals benefiting from our training solutions. It also includes the industrial and academic expertise resources we work closely with on a daily basis. RELEVANT Amanda BOSCUS Communication & Alumni Network - has been established in order to build and manage a network of professionals facilitating exchanges between the French industry and the international aerospace stakeholders. My responsibility as alumni network manager is to strengthen the links between the members of this community, while helping them to develop their own professional network. The major challenge is to regularly offer new services able to constantly meet the expectations of its members. Alumni Network The Alumni Network The Alumni Network gathers all the participants to training programs. This network now includes more than 3,600 professionals from more than 100 countries. Whether civilian or military engineers, space agency managers or airline executives, the members of this network share excellence, a high level of responsibility and the capacity to take action for the future of the aerospace industry in their respective country. The industry experts network gathers more than 130 specialists from the French aerospace industry. Whether they come from Airbus, Dassault, Safran and Thales or from equipment manufacturers, they shed an operational, practical and concrete light on our training solutions. Depending on our customers needs and on the training engineering implemented, can also rely on specialized stakeholders such as Safran Université, AirBusiness Academy, Euroconsult, SATConsult, Bureau Veritas, Star Engineering, Agiléa, Pyramis Consulting and many others. The academic network has been collaborating for a long time with the major French postgraduate engineering and business schools from the aerospace domain, such as ISAE-SUPAERO, ENAC, Toulouse Business School, ENSEEIHT and Ecole des Mines d Albi. They are part of our educational ecosystem and offer Advanced or research masters as well as doctorates.
