6 Major : Embedded Systems Janette Cardoso Train students for the analysis, design and implementation of aerospace embedded systems, at function level and system level, Prepare them for jobs such as designers, developers, research engineers and project managers in design and development of innovative embedded systems Initiate students to innovation, and/or to join a PhD program. 10 MSc in Aerospace Engineering Major : Aerospace Structures Patrice Longère Find the best compromise between high performance, low cost and weak environmental impact requires from the engineer a deep knowledge of the mechanics of materials and structures as well as the recourse as frequently as possible to virtual testing. In this aim in view, the purpose of the Aerospace Structures Major is to provide the students with the modern tools of materials and structures modeling in the context of aeronautical and space applications. Know the nonlinear constitutive models and failure criteria of most classes of structural materials to be used further for aeronauticsl and space-oriented design and/or numerical simulation Apply the pertinent numerical tools for solving initial and boundary value, large size, linear/nonlinear problems using engineering finite element computation codes Analyse from the structure viewpoint the flying performance of a given aircraft, with a focus on the effect of aeroelastic coupling Analyse from the structure viewpoint the performance of launch vehicles and satellites, in particular regarding their specific environment and missions NASA 10
