2 Signature Area Advanced Manufacturing Will emphasize instruction and research in the emerging fields of additive, energy, micro- and nano-scale, network-centric and cloud, intelligent, and sensor-enabled manufacturing.

3 Signature Area Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Will focus on the rehabilitation of urban masstransportation centers, including highways, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, and port and water navigation channels, as well as utility infrastructure.

4 Annual Giving (FY 14 as of ) $11.3 million raised compared to $8.4 million last year (34% increase) Alumni participation is stabilizing after a sixyear decline. Current rate of 13% beats national average of 9% for public universities and is up from this time last year. Preparing to launch a comprehensive campaign. Early analysis indicate a goal of $150 to $175 million.
