Fold all cards along score lines and reinforce creases with a bone folder. Before making creases, check to make sure that all edges are aligned. The edges of many finished cards, panels and die cuts have been colored with ink. This step is optional, and the directions to ink edges are not included below. For a softer look, ink with a sponge or stylus tool with blender tip. For a bolder effect, ink directly from the pad onto the card. If you do not have an item required to complete a card, simply omit the step or substitute the item.
September 2010 Adobe Greetings to Go Page 2 of 6 Set A: 5x7 Black Cards with 4¼x6¼ Handmade and 4x6 Sand Panels Card #1 Turquoise Perforated Squares: Just Because Wood Mounted Adobe Collage Stamp Copper Circular Paper Clip Beads 1. Trim the Sand panel to 3½x5½. Cut the panel vertically into unequal strips, and horizontally into unequal sections. (The exact size of the strips doesn't matter.) 2. Stamp each panel with UM and WM images and Onyx ink. Arrange the stamped pieces onto the Handmade Panel with foam adhesive and adhere the panel to the card. 3. Clip the Turquoise square onto the upper left panel. Adhere beads to the lower right panel with bookbinding glue. Card #2 Turquoise Perforated Squares: Happy Anniversary and Happy Happy Happy 1. Adhere the Turquoise perforated squares to the Sand panel and nest onto the Handmade panel. 2. Attach the panels to the card. Card #3 Sand Cutapart: Happy Birthday My Dear Friend! Clay Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Stamp the Sand panel with the UM medallion image. Nest onto the Handmade panel and layer onto the card. 2. Outline the medallion image on the Sand cutapart with the Quickie Glue Pen. Sprinkle with Copper Foil embossing powder, shake off excess, and heat to melt. 3. Tie a bow with the ribbon and attach to the top of the cutapart. Adhere to the panels with foam adhesive.
Card #4 September 2010 Adobe Greetings to Go Page 3 of 6 Turquoise Perforated Squares: Decorative Border Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon Card #5 1. Tear the outer edges of the Handmade panel and attach to the card. Layer the perforated squares onto the panel. 2. Stamp the UM greeting onto the Sand panel. Color the cactus with watercolor pencils, trim, and round corners. 3. Make a loop with the ribbon and tape to the back of the stamped panel. Attach the panel as shown with foam adhesive. Adhere the remaining portion of the panel to the inside of the card. Wood Mounted Adobe Collage Stamp Black Photo Mounting Corners 1. Stamp the collage onto the Sand panel with Onyx ink. Color the image with watercolor pencils; splatter lightly with additional color. 2. Stamp the UM greeting onto the lower right corner of the panel with Onyx ink. 3. Nest the Sand and Handmade panels and attach to the card with black photo mounting corners. Set B: 3x5¼ Clay Cards with 2¾x5 Turquoise Panels Card #1 Clay Card with Turquoise Panel Sand Cutapart: Happy Anniversary Turquoise Perforated Squares: And Wishes for Many More. Copper Circular Clip Turquoise Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Distress the edges of the cutapart and squares. Attach to the Turquoise panel. 2. Tie ribbon onto the circular clip and attach to the squares. Layer onto the panel with foam adhesive and nest the panel onto the card.
Card #2 September 2010 Adobe Greetings to Go Page 4 of 6 Clay Card with Turquoise Panel WM Great Job! Stamp Turquoise and Clay Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Mist the UM stamp with water and color with watercolor crayons. Stamp onto the Turquoise panel and repeat with additional colors. Allow the panel to dry. 2. Stamp Great Job! onto the panel several times with Onyx ink. Note: Angled rows seem to work best and are more forgiving if you don't stamp perfectly each time. 3. Tie the ribbons onto the panel and layer the panel onto the card. Card #3 Clay Card with Turquoise Panel 3¼x5¼ Sand Panel (From Set C) WM Great Job! Stamp Clay Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Stamp Great Job! onto a small portion of the Sand Panel with Onyx ink. Tear the stamped image from the panel, leaving an extra inch on the left edge. Fold the edge over and staple a small length of grosgrain ribbon to the edge. 2. Stamp the Turquoise panel with the UM medallion image and Onyx ink. 3. Attach the Sand embellishment to the Turquoise panel with foam adhesive and layer the panel onto the card. Card #4 Clay Card with Turquoise Panel Turquoise Perforated Squares: Kokopelli Sand Cutapart: A Simple Hello Clay Grosgrain Ribbon (2) Mini Copper Brads 1. Nest the cutapart and Turquoise panel onto the Clay card. 2. Attach a small length of ribbon to each Turquoise square with a copper brad. Layer the squares onto the card with foam adhesive.
September 2010 Adobe Greetings to Go Page 5 of 6 Card #5 Clay Card with Turquoise Panel 3¼x5¼ Sand Panel (From Set C) Sand Cutapart: Never Miss a Chance..., Round Pot, and Tall Pot 1. Trim the 3¼x5¼ Sand panel to 1-5/8x3-7/8. Nest the panel onto the Cutapart, Turquoise panel and card. 2. Trim the pots from the Sand cutaparts with a scissors. 3. Take the remaining portion of the Sand panel and make a 1/2 fold. Cut directly along the fold to create a stiff stem to put into the pot. Repeat to create several long stems. 4. Trim the stems into assorted lengths and tape to the back of the pots. Secure the round pot to the card with one layer of foam adhesive. Use two layers of foam for the tall pot. Set C: 4x6 Turquoise Cards with 3¾x5¾ Black and 3¼x5¼ Sand Panels Card #1 Turquoise Card with Black Panel Sand Panel (From Set B, Card 3) WM Today is Yours! Stamp Turquoise Perforated Squares: Happy Birthday (4) Copper Mini Brads 1. Separate each square from the Turquoise Happy Birthday image. Using a ruler for even spacing, attach the squares to the upper portion of the Black panel with foam adhesive. 2. Stamp the WM image onto a remaining section of the Sand panel with Onyx ink and trim. Set a copper brad into each corner and attach to the Black panel with foam adhesive. 3. Layer the Black panel onto the card. Card #2 Turquoise Card with Black and Sand Panels and FontArt White Photo Mounting Corners 1. Piece together the UM FontArt components to create the custom Happy Birthday stamp and stamp with Onyx ink. Substitute the year and occasion (Birthday or Anniversary) to suit your needs. 2. Stamp the UM border image above and below the greeting. 3. Mask the borders with a Post-It Note and stamp the UM mosaic image above and below the borders. 4. Color the panel with watercolor crayons or pencils, blending the colors as you wish. Splatter with additional color to finish the look. 5. Alter the white photo mounting corners with watercolors and use to layer the Sand panel onto the Black panel. Nest the panels onto the card.

Outline the cactus images on the Sand cutapart with a Quickie Glue Pen. Sprinkle with Copper Foil embossing powder, shake off excess, and heat to melt. 2. Alter the outer perimeter of the cutapart with a paper distressing tool. 3. Set a brad into each corner of the cutapart and attach to the Black panel with foam adhesive. Layer the panel onto the card. Turquoise Card with Black and Sand Panels Sand Cutapart: Hope You're Feeling Better Soon. 1. Cut the center from the Sand cutapart with a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat. 2. Stamp the UM greeting and cactus image onto the Sand panel. 3. Layer the outer frame of the cutapart onto the Sand panel and attach to the Black panel and card. Card #5 Turquoise Card with Black Panel Sand Cutapart: Designer's Choice Turquoise Perforated Squares: Get Well Soon Clay Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Trim a piece of red liner tape to fit into the center of the Sand cutapart. Attach individual Turquoise squares to the tape. 2. Sprinkle Copper Foil embossing powder over the remaining exposed tape and heat to melt. (Note: Carpet Tape can be used; however, heat with caution as it can melt slightly.) 3. Attach a length of ribbon to the top left corner of the cutapart. Layer onto the Black panel and Turquoise card.
