Starting Singles Club This club is for single men and women that want to socialize possibly monthly for Happy Hours, movies etc. This club is also for married people who would like to enjoy socializing and have spouses who are not here full time. It's about enjoying life and meeting new people! If interested in joining or for more information please contact Jeanne Logeais at jlogeais42@me.com or Kim Winters at KWinters790@yahoo.com. Starting Hand and Foot Hand and Foot is a North American game related to Canasta, in which each player is dealt two sets of cards - the hand, which is played first, and the foot, which is played when the hand has been used up. There are numerous variations of this game and no standard rules. If interested in joining this group please contact Linda Twaddle at lindajtwaddle@gmail.com Coming Back WaterballClub Although starting late this year, we look forward to Winter Waterball resuming in Somerset on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month (March 14th and 28th) at 3 p.m. Bridgetown is also exploring hosting WATERBALL on the first and third Wednesdays, beginning March 7th at the Bridgetown lap pool. For those interested, it is possible to participate at each location. If you ve not heard of WATERBALL, it is a fun, easy game to enjoy, providing light exercise in the pool. In short, it is a more relaxed form of volleyball played in the lap pool using a beach ball and with simple, non-aggressive rules. Since it is pick up style, we only need to know who MAY be interested so we can provide updates and information. So please consider giving it a try - it s lots of fun! Please note that the lap pool will be closed for individual use during this time. If you have questions and wish to stay informed, please contact Sandra Reynolds. The Musical Club Do you enjoy playing a musical instrument? The Musical Club welcomes new members, singers and part timers. Bring your ideas for other types of music. Even if you are just a beginner, there will be music for you to play. The Musical Club performed a Valentine s Day sing-a-long of Love Songs at Barrington Terrace Senior Living and Pacifica Senior Living. We gave everyone the printed words to the songs and residents and staff sang beautifully, loud and clear and some even danced. It lots of fun and definitely rewarding. We are planning our next musical volunteer activity so please join us. Send an email to carolkann@yahoo.com Book Club Plantation Readers The next meeting is on Tuesday, March 13 in the Somerset Library at 7 p.m. to discuss ""A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles.
