3. Pre-assembly of the mount For easy operation of the bolted joints, and correct torque tightening, «Anti Seize» Installation Paste must be applied to all threads of bolts and fine adjustment spindles. After this, keep the lubricated threads free of dust and dirt! (a Torque Table is attached for specifications) 3.1 Install the reflector front side facing ground on the packing cover. (Do not lean on the reflector during the assembly, the reflector geométry may be permanently damage, and degrade antenna performances). 3.2 Connecting Support Mount 3.3 4 screws M8x25 4 SL washers A8 4 nuts M8 3.4 2 SL screws M10x25 2 washers 10.5 Ø30 3.5 Steel U-Mount 4 ft Do not install the Elevation Spindle yet, it may be damage during shroud assembly on the reflector NMT 553-01e 3/10

5. Feed Installation* (See feed Installation Instructions joined) For the following antenna freq. codes, you must install the feed system before the assembly of the radome on the shroud : - Guy wires staying system (Monopolar. & Dualpolar. Freq. Codes > 100) - Mixed mounting feed systems with tuning plate Ø > 120 mm (Monopolar. F = 77, 78) - Mixed mounting feed systems (Monopolar. Freq. codes = 34, 36, 56, 57, W57, 59, 65) *If your feed system is not concerned skip this step, you can install it subsequently at chapter 7. 6. Assembly of the radome (for antennas without shroud skip this step) Front Rear 12 screws M6x25 12 washers 6.4 18 mm 12 washers 6.4 12 sl nuts M6 Radome Shroud rim - If the feed system has been installed, hold the antenna on the reflector rim by a personnel to avoid feed access damage or deformation. (if your feed system is not installed you can turn carefully the antenna to install it on the mount as shown below). - Position the radome over the shroud - Fix the radome with 4 screws handtight every 90 around the circumference - Fix the remaining screws and handtighten - Tighten all screws Antenna orientation when feed system is not yet installed Antenna orientation when feed system is already installed (to avoid feed access damage) 7. Feed Installation Refer to Feed Installation Instructions joined. NMT 553-01e 5/10
8. Elevation Spindle installation ELEVATION fine adjustment Spindle M10x100 2 brass nuts M10 2 washers 10.5 Elevation spindle installed 9. Azimuth safety collar installation on pipe support Note that the installation of the antenna should be accomplished by qualified personnels, and well trained person in fair climatic conditions (In any case, always respect the safety regulation in effect in the country). Activities involving the use of pulleys, ropes, carabiners and others accessories to hoist antennas and associated products are inherently dangerous. You are responsible for your own actions and decisions. The use of hoisting systems must be done by qualified and skilled personnel. Always use certified and controlled equipments, and be sure to respect the breaking load and the working load limit of each element (pulleys, ropes, carabiners ). RFS disclaims any responsibility in case of non repect of these warnings..
