Speakers Profile 演講嘉賓簡介 Mr Eric Yeung, President, Smart City Consortium Eric Yeung is currently the Executive Director of Skyzer VC Group and he is also the founder of Skyzer Group. Skyzer VC group comprises four technologies & entertainment Houses that provides the best digital entertainments experience & innovative O2O business platform, which includes Golfzon GreenLive Hong Kong, Mini168 Holdings Ltd., Versus Stadium Ltd. and Atalon Ventures Ltd. (so-called PongConnet ). Eric also plays an active role in IT industry as well. He is the president of Smart City Consortium and E-Sports Association Hong Kong, the chairman of Hong Kong Software Industry Association, the vice president of Hong Kong Information Technology Joint Council and the vice chairman of the Internet Professional Association. Besides, Eric is constantly invited to give speeches in colleges and regularly interviewed by major media of Hong Kong. He is also an article writer for many famous newspaper and journals on topics concerning IT industry and youth issues. Devoting himself to various types of community service, Eric endeavors to promote technology innovation and encourage the youth to contribute to the society. As the vice chairman of the Hong Kong United Youth Association and the executive vice president of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business, Eric not only serve consultative service to government advisory committees. He also takes his role as a member of Advisory Committee on Innovation and Technology, and Council for sustainable development and also committee member of Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, the Telecommunications Users and Consumers Advisory Committee (TUCAC), Telecommunications Regulatory Affairs Advisory Committee (TRAAC), the Kowloon City District Youth Programme Co-Ordinating Committee and the Kwai Tsing District Youth Programme Co-Ordinating Committee. In 2010, Eric was selected as the 4th Young Leader of the Junior Chamber International Harbour. 3
Mrs Junu Rani Das Kailay, Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA), Government of India Mrs Junu Rani Das Kailay is the Controller of Certifying Authorities, Government of India since September 2016 and also holding additional charge of Controller of Digital Locker Authority. Earlier she had worked for over 30 years in the National Informatics Centre, premier organization of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for providing ICT services to government at all levels. She had headed various groups in NIC and was responsible for major ICT interventions in many sectors such as Finance, Labour & Employment, Health and Education. She was the Managing Director of National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI), a company under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for providing and procuring IT solutions for e-governance projects for 3 years. She also headed National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology at Chandigarh for 3 years. NIELIT is an Autonomous Scientific Society of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology involved in Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology She was Vice President (Asia Pacific), Intergovernmental Informatics Programme of UNESCO during 1999-2000. She was responsible for drafting the new programme of UNESCO Information for all as a part of four member working group. Mrs. Kailay holds a Master of Science degree in Physics with specialization in Solid State Physics and a Master of Philosophy degree in Computer Science. Mr Oliver Ng, Chairman, The Hong Kong Association of Online Brokers Oliver Ng was elected Chairman of Hong Kong Association of Online Brokers for a two-year term 2017-2019. Oliver is a Financial services professional with over 20 years of experience in Greater China region. He is currently, Managing Director and Deputy Head of Equity Sales and Derivatives Division at BOCI Securities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of China. In this role, he is responsible for electronic trading of securities, corporate brokerage services and private wealth management services. 4
Ms Prema Shrikrishna, Consultant of World Bank Group Prema Shrikrishna is an operations champion, a blockchain enthusiast, and has spent over 13 years building sustainable business operations for Fortune 500 companies such as Walt Disney, ABB, and Vodafone in Asia Pacific markets. At MIT, she has published two papers on Blockchain and the future of Digital Trade. Currently, she is also a consultant at the World Bank, providing expertise in validating the scope Blockchain in the future of Supply Chains, Health & Commerce. Mr. Jeremy Lee, Vice President of CyberSecurity Solutions, APAC, Nexusguard As Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions at Nexusguard, Jeremy oversees the formulation and execution of the company s strategy and cybersecurity programs in the APAC region. Much of his efforts are devoted to fostering and growing the company s strategic partnership with service partners as part of Nexusguard s drive to build a safer, secure and trusted internet. Such partnerships are essentially a network of networks in order for Nexusguard to extend its mitigation capability into every corner of the world. Jeremy translates solution requirements and ideas collected from customers and partners into strategies and solution features that allow Nexusguard to protect enterprises and institutions from cyber threats. Ir Allen Yeung, JP, Government Chief Information Officer of HKSAR Allen Yeung has extensive business and management experience in the ICT field before joining the HKSAR government in 2015. He holds Executive MBA from HKUST-Kellogg Northwestern University. As Government CIO, his responsibilities include formulating ICT policies and strategies; leading the E-government programmes; promoting and developing ICT industry as key business and economy driver; and bridging the digital divide. 5
Dr Winnie Tang, JP, Founder & Honorary President, Smart City Consortium Dr. Winnie Tang JP is an Honorary Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong. She is one of the locally-bred IT entrepreneurs of Hong Kong. In the 1990s, Dr. Tang founded Esri China (Hong Kong) to develop and promote Geographic Information System (GIS) software and solutions. Dr. Tang is also the Founder and Honorary President of Smart City Consortium. Over the years, she has been actively advocating the use of technology and sharing her views regarding the ICT industry, ehealth, environmental conservation, entrepreneurship and smart city through her services in government and non-government organizations in Hong Kong. In recognition of Dr. Tang's outstanding contributions to society, she was recognised as one the Distinguished Alumni by the Faculty of Science of HKU in 2009 and as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the year by the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCIHK) in 2006. Dr. Tang also received the Young Achiever of the Year in the Women of Influence Award presented by the American Chamber of Commerce in 2004. Mr Gary Yeung, MH, Chairman of eid Committee and Honorary Secretary of Smart City Consortium As an entrepreneur, Gary started his own business when he was studying in HKUST. Since then, his keen interest in Internet has driven him to focus on Internet-related business and his dedication in the I.T. sector secures his success. He is now the Founder and CEO of Techture, a Digital Agency providing integrated online to offline (O2O) solutions with a pool of PR and IT experts. As the founding member, Hon Secretary and eid Committee Chairman of the Smart City Consortium (SCC), Gary has focused on developing electronic identification (eid) applications for both China and Hong Kong in recent years. With growing enthusiasm, unique business insight and cutting-edge technology, he is seizing the rare opportunity of China-Hong Kong Smart City development. Apart from contributing to SCC, he also undertakes different professional roles such as Vice-President of E- Commerce Association of Hong Kong, and Founding Vice Chairman and Director of Education & Training Comittee of Hong Kong O2O E-Commerce Federation. 6
Furthermore, Gary is appointed by the Hong Kong SAR Government to serve as the School Management Council Member of The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK), Council Member of Vocational Training Council (VTC) and Member of Advisory Committee on Recycling Fund. He also founded Ma On Shan Youth Association in 2007. The Association is a Registered Charitable Organization which currently operates two social enterprises. Gary received the Young Leader Award from the Harbour Junior Chamber in 2008 and has been awarded the Medal of Honour from the Government of HKSAR in 2017. Both awards acknowledge his significant outstanding achievement and contribution to the Hong Kong community. He currently heads the Financial Services Group at RCA Beijing, leading a team of 3 Partners and over 60 risk and controls professionals. He is also a member of PwC s C-SOX Task Force, a national role leading the research into the development of internal control assurance and advisory approach and standards for the firm in respond to the MOF s Basic Standard of Enterprise Internal Control and related Guidance. 7
