Model DC1722J55AHF Definition of Measured Specifications Parameter Return Loss Insertion Loss Mean Coupling Phase Balance Frequency sensitivity Definition The impedance match of the coupler to a 5Ω system. Return Loss is an alternate means to express VSWR. The power at the isolated port divided by the power at the coupled port The input power divided by the sum of the power at the two output ports. At a given frequency ( ω ), coupling is the input power divided by the power at the coupled port. Mean coupling is the average value of the coupling values in the band. N is the number of frequencies in the band. The difference in phase angle between the two output ports. The decibel difference between the maximum in band coupling value and the nimum in band coupling value. n Mathematical Representation i, j, k, m is denoted as the port index of input, isolated, direct and coupled port for specific pin configuration shown in the table above 2 log ( S ) 1 2 log 1 1 ii S S ji 2 2 1log ( S + S ) Coupling = 2 log1 S Mean Coupling = N m= 1 ki 2log S S + 9 o ki (Max Coupling Min Coupling )/2 N 1 S (315) 432-899 (8) 411596 +86 5122749282
Model DC1722J55AHF Mounting Configuration: In order for Xinger surface mount components to work optimally, the proper impedance transssion lines must be used to connect to the RF ports. If this condition is not satisfied, insertion loss, Isolation and VSWR may not meet published specifications. All of the Xinger components are constructed from organic PTFE based composites which possess excellent electrical and mechanical stability. Xinger components are compliant to a variety of ROHS and Green standards and ready for Pb-free soldering processes. Pads are Gold plated with a Nickel barrier. An example of the PCB footprint used in the testing of these parts is shown below. In specific designs, the transssion line widths need to be adjusted to the unique dielectric coefficients and thicknesses as well as varying pick and place equipment tolerances. 6x.35 4x.3 6x.33.66 6x.5 4x Transssion Line Plated thru holes to ground Circuit Pattern Footprint Pad (s) Solder Resist Dimensions are in Millimeters Mounting Footprint (315) 432-899 (8) 411596 +86 5122749282
