Meeting Notes: Our September 16 th meeting was spent discussing various upcoming projects and club issues. Wayne and Sally Park were prepared for the Sept 19 21 hosting of the winning bidders of the B&B from the District Convention, which generated $260 for the Kiwanis District Foundation. Roger Hess helped with breakfast preparations. This was Roger Hess last meeting for the year as the Hess will be migrating to their Arizona wintering grounds shortly. Safe travels, Roger and Janis see you next year, and THANKS for all you do for EP Kiwanis! Vern Merz, our emeritus member extraordinaire, joined us at our September 30 th meeting! We also welcomed Nancy Wiehagen, Executive Director Rocky Mountain Region, Ann Stelling, Region 2 Lt. Governor from Greeley, and Dawn White, Key Club Administrator to our meeting a great turnout! Thanks much, Chelsea! Landed a Builder s Club Advisor Don Osborn reports we have a Middle School faculty advisor for Builder s Club Alan Norton. Kathy Littlejohn hopes to be able to serve as the primary Kiwanis advisor, with help from Sally Park, Don Osborn, Bob Burger and other members as needed. Kathy will meet with Alan to flesh out a plan to re-establish the Club. Thanks, Kathy! Jay Blackwood (pictured) and Gary Miller helped the Key Club with their September project. Our Club-sponsored high school Key Club is up and running, and our Board of Directors has agreed to chip in for some Key Clubbers to attend the Key Leader conference in October. Key Club s September service project was helping with the massive Fish Creek restoration project with high-schoolers and other

Jay Blackwood worked alongside the Key Clubbers, as did Gary Miller, and other students throughout the day. Thanks, Jay, Gary and the Key Club and other volunteers!
