ULTRIPRIME MIO Ultriprime MIO is a micaceous iron oxide (MIO) primer which is perfect for applying high build base layers to structural steel. Formulated with a synthetic modified alkyd resin containing zinc phosphate, it offers outstanding anti-corrosive qualities. And with it being air-drying and exceptional wet on wet, with itself and with most alkyd paints, Ultriprime MIO also excels with over coating. Excellent overcoating properties when applied wet on wet, with itself and with most alkyd based paints. Once applied will touch dry in 15 minutes and hard dry in 2-4 hours.
