Designed by Gloria Stengel Graphic 45 Supplies: 1 sheet Cut Apart (#4501043) 1 sheet Flourish (#4501044) 1 each 6 x6 Patterns & Solids Pad (#4501053) 1 pack Time to Flourish Chipboard Tags (#4501059) 2 each Regular Tags - Kraft (#4500625) 2 each Artist Trading Tag - Kraft (#4500847) 4 each Ornate Metal Keys (#4500545) Additional Supplies: 2 sheets 12 x12 dark brown cardstock 1 sheet 81 2 x11 ivory cardstock 3 yards dark brown twine 2 green self-adhesive pearls Tools, Adhesives & Ink: Paper trimmer, scissors, scoring tool/bone folder, 5 3 8, 4 and 1 hole punches, tape runner/double sided adhesive, 3D foam adhesive, strong quick dry glue or hot glue, vintage photo distress ink Designer's note: Students need 4 pieces of gingham paper from the Time to Flourish 6x6 Patterns and Solids Pad; they need two pieces of red gingham paper, one piece of orange, and one piece of green. Directions: * All measurements are length x width. ** Trim ALL images from the Cut Apart and Flourish sheets before beginning the projects. *** Sponge edges of all paper with distress ink. **** Use a 5 8 hole punch for the tag grommets. - Card 1: Warm Greetings Card 1. Cut dark brown cardstock to 12" x 6" and score at 6" on the long side to make a top-fold 6" x 6" card base. pg 1 of 5

2. From the Cut Apart Sheet trim the sunflower border, the "warm greetings" sentiment, two postage stamp images, and the sunflower image. From the Flourish paper, fussy cut the poem and one small sunflower. From the Decorative Chipboard Tags package, select the seeds mini tag and the small red circle. 3. From the 6x6 Patterns and Solids Pad, trim the orange gingham paper to 57 8" x 57 8" and attach to the card front. From the Flourish (reverse) paper, trim a square 47 8" x 47 8" and mat cardstock cut to 5" x 5". Attach the panel to the center of the card front with foam Trim the sunflower border to 57 8" long and mat with dark brown cardstock. Attach the border to the center of the card. Use foam adhesive on the left and right edges of the border strip. 5. Attach the two postage stamp images to the right side of the image, just below the bee graphic, using foam Attach the "warm greetings" sentiment below the postage images using foam 6. Glue the mini chipboard tag to the left edge of the image as shown. Tie a bow from brown twine and glue to the chipboard tag. Glue a metal key to the bow and then glue the red, chipboard circle to the top of the key. 7. Decorate the inside of the card by trimming ivory cardstock to 57 8" x 57 8" and attaching to the inside panel. Mat the fussy cut poem and sunflower cardstock and attach to the center of the ivory panel. Trim the sunflower border to 57 8" long and mat cardstock. Attach the border to the bottom of the panel. 4. Trim the sunflower image to approximately 4" x 4" and mat cardstock cut to 41 8" x 41 8". Attach the image to the center of the card front with foam - Card 2: You Are My Sunshine Card 1. Cut dark brown cardstock to 12" x 5" and score at 6" on the long side to make a top-fold 6" x 5" card base. pg 2 of 5

the card and 1 4" from the right edge. 5. Attach the calendar tag to the left side of the image at an angle as shown. Attach the "you are my sunshine" sentiment to the right edge of the tag using foam 6. Glue the bird chipboard tag to the calendar tag as shown. Tuck the postage stamp image under the left edge of the tag. Use foam attach the three sunflower circles to the left edge of the Flourish panel in a row, from the top edge. 2. From the Cut Apart Sheet trim the "Hello Friend" image, the border, the "wishing you" journaling card, the calendar tag, the "sunflowers" and "you are my sunshine" sentiments, and one postage stamp image. Use a 3 4" circle punch to punch out the three sunflowers from the Cut Apart sheet. From the Decorative Chipboard Tags package, select the bird tag. 3. From the 6x6 Patterns and Solids Pad, trim the red gingham paper to 57 8" x 47 8" and attach to the card front. From the Flourish paper, trim a piece 47 8" x 37 8" and mat cardstock cut to 5" x 4". Attach to the center of the card front with foam 4. Trim the "hello friend" image to the brown border, approximately 31 2" x 31 2". Attach the image to the right side of the card front with foam adhesive, 1" from the top edge of 7. Glue a metal key to the chipboard tag. Tie a bow from brown twine and glue to the key. 8. Decorate the inside of the card by trimming ivory cardstock to 57 8" x 47 8" and attaching to the inside panel. Trim the "wishing you" journaling block to the brown border and attach to the center of the ivory panel with foam Attach "sunflowers" sentiment to the image with foam Trim the border to 47 8" long and attach it to the bottom of the panel. pg 3 of 5

- Tag 1: Le Tournesol - 3. Trim Flourish (reverse) paper to 2" x 12". Score every 1 2" and pleat the paper until you have a 2" x 37 8" section. Trim as necessary. 1. From the Cut Apart Sheet trim the "keep your face" border, the post card image, and the "Le Tournesol" sentiment. From the Decorative Chipboard Tags package, select sunflower tag. 2. Cover a Regular Kraft Tag with green gingham paper from the 6x6 Patterns and Solids Pad. Cover a kraft Artist Trading Tag with the sunflower portion of the postcard image. 4. Attach the pleated paper to the bottom of the Regular Tag, making sure that it extends 1 4" below the bottom of the tag. 5. Trim the "keep your face" border into two strips, each strip approximately 37 8" long. Attach one strip to the top of the pleated "skirt" and one strip to the top of the tag as shown. 6. Use foam attach the Artist Trading Tag to the lower right corner of the Regular Tag. 7. Use foam attach the chipboard sunflower tag to the left of the Artist Trading Tag, overlapping the tag grommet. Place two green pearls onto the chipboard tag. Use foam attach the "Le Tournesol" sentiment to the lower left corner of the tag. 8. Glue a metal key to the top of the tag, covering the grommet. Tie a bow from brown twine and attach to pg 4 of 5

the key. Use a 3 4" circle punch to punch out the "No. 45" from the postcard image. Use a 1" circle punch to punch out the postage cancelation from the postcard image. Use foam attach both circles to the upper right corner of the tag. 2. Cover a Regular Kraft Tag with red gingham paper from the 6x6 Patterns and Solids Pad. 3. Cover a Kraft Artist Trading Tag with the "" portion of the calendar image. - Tag 2: Sunny Days - 4. Use foam attach the Artist Trading Tag to the Regular Tag, approximately 11 4" from the left edge and 1" from the top. 5. Carefully fussy cut the sunflower from the saying. Center the red chipboard frame over the saying. 6. Use foam attach the frame to the lower left corner of the Regular Tag, overlapping the "" tag. 1. From the Cut Apart Sheet trim the calendar image, two postage stamp images, and the "sunny days" sentiment. From the Decorative Chipboard Tags package, select red decorative frame, the green flag, and the strawberries tag. From the Flourish paper, trim the saying and sunflower. 7. Gently shape the fussy cut sunflower and glue to the left edge of the chipboard frame. Tuck the two postage stamp images under the top left edge of the frame. Use foam attach the "sunny days" sentiment to the upper left corner of the tag. 8. Glue the green chipboard flag and the strawberries chipboard tag to the grommet on the top of the Regular Tag. Glue a metal key to the top of the strawberries tag. Tie a bow from brown twine and glue to the key. pg 5 of 5
