Welcome to February (the shortest month of the year and NO LEAP YEAR this year). I hope none of you got too flooded away this past month with all the rains. Is the drought over? Don t let your coin collections RUST! Protect them. January Meeting Review The meeting was called to order by our president Bob Belleau at 6:30 p.m. ^*A special moment of recognition was held in behalf of our outgoing President Bob Belleau. Thank You Bob for your dedicated service. A special club plaque will be purchased and awarded to him at a future meeting. We had 19 members present along with two (2) guests Leon Griffin and Isebale Duncan. November minutes were read by club secretary David Trimingham. Treasurer s Report by Ed Hoffmark. The clubs funds are solvent and available upon request. All previous club silver bullion was liquidated and sold to club members and the sales were deposited back into the club treasury. The treasurer also secured the Fairfield Willow Hall for our clubs coin show date by paying the deposit of $1,578.50 The January treasurers report was approved by Gene B and then by Richard B and then unanimously approved by all club members. At our January meeting we held our annual officers elections. Also, at this January club meeting the Fairfield Coin Club Constitution and By Laws and revisions were unanimously approved by the membership.
