Product outline As part of our CrowdTuff powder coated tubular steel fencing range we manufacture a Loop Top style for pedestrian barrier and safety fencing applications. This range of tubular fencing is designed to protect pedestrians from all manner of hazards such as roadways, car parks, tramways, and steep embankments or to simply to manage pedestrian movement around open space areas such as parks and walkways (see also Steel Picket Fencing). A basic outline of our CrowdTuff fencing system is: A pre-fabricated tubular steel panel with a series of uprights and two rails is supported between posts in concrete footing or base flanged to concrete. Panels are normally 2400mm long x 1200mm high. The vertical pickets or uprights are a Ø19mmx1.2mm round (CHS) that pass through and is welded into the 40x40x1.6mm SHS horizontal rails. The panels are fixed to tubular 65x65x1.6mm (1800mm long) posts with a security bracket and tamper resistant self-drilling tek screws. The pre-galvanised steel is finished with a durable polyester powder coat. The specific features that differentiate our CrowdTuff fence system are: Strength through design combining pregalvanised steel hollow sections and a punched rail construction. Wholly pre-fabricated modular design allowing quick and easy install without the need for welding or cutting on site. Innovative heavy duty steel security brackets that are hot dip galvanised after fabrication (rather than zinc plated), are not handed, secure to the non-attack side of the post, are easy to install and are highly vandal resistant. Innovative and heavy duty gate hinging with a superior service life. Australian made with wholly in-house manufacture, metal pre-treatment and powder coating rather than importing or outsourcing. Use of quality powder Interpon coatings allowing us to offer a 10 year colour fastness warranty. Other features of our CrowdTuff fence system are: All welds are Silicon Bronze (rather than standard mild steel weld) for improved corrosion resistance and powder adhesion. Regular independent neutral salt spray adhesion testing to ensure superior coating adhesion. Use of high quality precision tube pregalvanised steel that is galvanised inside and out (rather than outside only). In-house 6 stage metal pre-treatment process to ensure film adhesion (rather than simple solvent wipe down that does a lesser job of preparing the metal substrate for coating).
